And, no, I'm not advocating that we need to return to computers.
To play devils advocate here.

Name 10 teams better than Houston.

Name 10 teams with a better win.

Okay.

According to the pollsters, ALL 25 were originally better than Houston.

According to these same "pollsters", there currently are "13" better wins than Oklahoma in the AP, and "12" better wins than OK in the Coaches.

Houston was ranked 15 before last weekend.

I was convinced before the Polls came out that based on the talent returning and how that talent performed the year before they would be around 8-10. So that surprised me.

I don't get the Notre Dame hoopla year and after.

I think a major overreaction is now having Wisconsin at 10 i think they will settle somewhere between 20-25 when all is said and done.

Was USC a homer pick?

Wisconsin was a nice pick...LSU looked like a sure thing.

USC was, although I thought they had athletes that could surprise, but I think I was about 5 years too late...

I think they are finding out that Pete Carroll was pretty important. And they had a nice run of great QB play kinda of lucky in that regard.

The NCAA really hurt their chances of sustaining success. Tough to build a team when you are down the kind of scholarships they were down.

Well, James Franklin, it was good while you were at PSU, but i'm afraid your time is up.

Michigan is waffle-stomping UCF.

Howard and Rutgers are tied.

Pretty good game between NC State and East Carolina.

Well, I don't think Clemson's making the playoff anymore. Good news for Houston if they stay unbeaten.
