Van Gorder and Miles, along with Cameron, are gone in one day. Wow.

So...not looking good for LSU right now. I know it's too early to assume things, but right now, i think LSU might end up 4-8 or 5-7.

I can understand Herman, but Briles...Hell no. What he allowed to go on at Baylor is disgusting and he should never be allowed a coaching job anywhere ever again.

If they hire Briles, i will lose all respect i had for LSU, and root for everyone they play.

Wisconsin vs. Michigan State Mich. St wins ugly at home.
Iowa vs. Rutgers Iowa bounces back
Florida State vs. USF Florida St. Bounces back
Georgia vs. Ole Miss Georgia 10 straight over Ole Miss pulls it off; Ole Miss has to be feeling it three tough ones in 4 weeks.
East Carolina vs. Virginia Tech Don't like either of these teams.
Wake Forest vs. Indiana IU to line up and wear out Wake
Penn State vs. Michigan This is close game. UM gets a late TD to win.
Pittsburgh vs. North Carolina Upset.
Florida vs. Tennessee Florida owns Tenn. but they are banged up and must win at Home for Tenn.
BYU vs. West Virginia Tough road trip for BYU.
Boise State vs. Oregon State Don't know enough either way.
Vanderbilt vs. Western Kentucky Vandy is bad.
Colorado vs. Oregon I think Colorado can play a little D, but they have no offense or special teams.
LSU vs. Auburn The Underachiever Bowl.
Oklahoma State vs. Baylor I think Okie St. is going to get it going and this is where the wheels fall off for Baylor.
Nebraska vs. Northwestern Upset.Northwestern gets owned by the MAC and then pulls off a stunner. Type of games Fitzgerald wins.
Stanford vs. UCLA Stanford is gonna have a lot 20-10 24-14 type games put the wins will keep piling up.
Arkansas vs. Texas A&M A&M with the crowd and Ark. coming back down to Earth.
Cal vs. Arizona State Had no idea here.
Washington vs. Arizona Experienced Washington team until they lose.

Overall: 22-12
Last week:13-6

13-9.

There were lots of toss-ups. Oregon, LSU,Pitt. all tough loses for me. On the wrong side of some close ones.

Michigan St. surprised me. They Looked terrible.

All right. Time for Week 5 picks. We have 25 games this week. Here they are.

Connecticut vs. Houston
Stanford vs. Washington
UCF vs. East Carolina
Miami vs. Georgia Tech
Notre Dame vs. Syracuse
Northwestern vs. Iowa
Texas vs. Oklahoma State
Virginia vs. Duke
Oregon State vs. Colorado
North Carolina vs. Florida State
Tennessee vs. Georgia
Wisconsin vs. Michigan
Wake Forest vs. NC State
Minnesota vs. Penn State
Kansas State vs. West Virginia
Oklahoma vs. TCU
Utah vs. Cal
USF vs. Cincinnati
Memphis vs. Ole Miss
Missouri vs. LSU
Louisville vs. Clemson
Michigan State vs. Indiana
Arizona State vs. USC
Oregon vs. Washington State
Arizona vs. UCLA

Pick Overall Record: 44-30
Pick Record Last Week: 12-11

Here are my picks.
Connecticut vs. Houston (Houston will get their revenge from last year.)
Stanford vs. Washington (This is one of the best matchups of the week. I'll take Stanford in a close one.)
UCF vs. East Carolina (This is a guess.)
Miami vs. Georgia Tech (The Cane Train keeps rollin' on.)
Notre Dame vs. Syracuse (Sorry, Orange. I think Notre Dame's gonna whip y'all.)
Northwestern vs. Iowa (I'm not impressed with either one of these teams. And Iowa has lost VandeBerg to injury.)
Texas vs. Oklahoma State (Texas rebounds from the Cal shootout loss, escapes Stillwater in another shootout.)
Virginia vs. Duke (Even though Virginia finally won a game last week, the fact is, they still suck.)
Oregon State vs. Colorado (Oregon State is bad.)
North Carolina vs. Florida State (UNC has a bad run defense...Dalvin Cook is gonna eat em' alive.)
Tennessee vs. Georgia (The Vol Train has no brakes right now.)
Wisconsin vs. Michigan (I personally think Michigan State will not be good this year.)
Wake Forest vs. NC State (Wake Forest is surprising this year.)
Minnesota vs. Penn State (It might be time for James Franklin to be shown the door.)
Kansas State vs. West Virginia (Mountaineers start off conference play 1-0.)
Oklahoma vs. TCU (This is not the Oklahoma team we've seen in years' past.)
Utah vs. Cal (Utes escape Berkeley and keep on rocking.)
USF vs. Cincinnati (This is also another guess.)
Memphis vs. Ole Miss (Ole Miss should win, but don't automatically think Memphis will get destroyed.)
Missouri vs. LSU (Bold pick here. LSU is not in good shape right now.)
Louisville vs. Clemson (Lamar Jackson is an absolute monster.)
Michigan State vs. Indiana (Michigan State is not good, but i don't think they're bad enough to lose to Indiana.)
Arizona State vs. USC (While it's true that Arizona State is a glass cannon, USC is in the toilet right now.)
Oregon vs. Washington State (Both teams are not good.)
Arizona vs. UCLA (The battle of the teams who failed to upset their opponents last week.)

Last week: 13-9
Overall: 43-27

Busy the next couple of days, so I'm going to pick Thursday & Friday and than get Saturday pick's in either later tonight or Friday:

Connecticut vs. Houston. As a UConn fan I'm not expecting much from this game. The defense is OK, so if they can keep it within a touchdown I'll be extremely thrilled with that result.
Stanford vs. Washington. When it doubt, pick the top dog, and the top dog is Stanford.

Stanford vs. Washington. When it doubt, pick the top dog, and the top dog is Stanford.

UCF vs. East Carolina. East Carolina has burned me the last 2 weeks in a row, if they burn me again at home they are officially going on the $#!t list for the rest of the year.
Miami vs. Georgia Tech. That offense is tough to prepare for, but the Hurricanes are rolling, hard to pick against them.
Notre Dame vs. Syracuse. Syracuse will get a TON of yards on offense, but I don't think ND is 1-4 bad, I think they'll eek one out at the end.
Northwestern vs. Iowa. If this was at Northwestern I might pick the Wildcats since the Hawkeyes looked like $#!t at Rutgers last week, but I'll take the 'Eyes at home.
Texas vs. Oklahoma State. I'll take Texas and the over for $500 please Alex.
Virginia vs. Duke. ND isn't good, but going into South Bend and winning is great for a program like Duke, so I think the momentum continues against a hapless Virginia team.
Oregon State vs. Colorado. Oregon is another program that is a shell of itself, but I was impressed by the Buffs going in there and winning, they'll continue against the dumpster fire from Corvallis.
North Carolina vs. Florida State. They are going to get eaten alive by Cook because the run defense is atrocious, but I've been saying they would win for the last 4 weeks, so why would I flip flop now even though they are going to lose?? I'd rather take the loss with integrity than take the cheap win by flip flopping like politicians!
Tennessee vs. Georgia. I'll bite here. Even though the last 5 matchups have all been decided by 1 possession, Tennessee hasn't won in Athens since 2006, and have only beaten Georgia 6 times since Manning left school. I'll take the recent numbers.
Wisconsin vs. Michigan. I agree with you Southern Tiger I don't think Michigan State is a top 10 team. It's also proven Notre Dame isn't good and Wisconsin's opening opponent, LSU isn't good either. IMO, Wisconsin is a severely overranked team. I'd take Michigan in Wisconsin too, at home it almost seems too easy. I'll go Wolverines by 17+.
Wake Forest vs. NC State. I have no idea, but Wake Forest seems to be pretty good this year.
Minnesota vs. Penn State. If Penn State loses this one, James Franklin may not even last the weekend.
Kansas State vs. West Virginia. Get Virginia to 1-0 in conference play.
Oklahoma vs. TCU. TCU STILL can't stop anyone, but Oklahoma is another team that's a shell of it's former self.
Utah vs. Cal. Interesting game. I'll take the Bears at home.
USF vs. Cincinnati. Another game that's a guess for me too.
Memphis vs. Ole Miss. Ole Miss is not good so this will be a lot closer than people think, though I do think Ole Miss will end.
Missouri vs. LSU. I know they aren't good but if they can't beat Mizzou at home....Team usually play well for a couple weeks after a coaching change in season.
Louisville vs. Clemson. Since the previous 2 people pick Louisville. Also, I know Louisville is really, really, good, but Death Valley, at night, give me the Tigers.
Michigan State vs. Indiana. Sparty bounces back.
Arizona State vs. USC. These have actually been really close and exciting games the last couple of years.
Oregon vs. Washington State. Two disappointing teams, I'll go with the Cougs at the Paloose.
Arizona vs. UCLA. Bruins at home.

I can't believe Michigan and Wisconsin haven't played each other since 2010, that's insane.
