Cincinnati vs. Connecticut Cincy in a close one on the road.
(20) LSU vs. (17) Florida Hard to trust LSU and maybe the coaching change takes its toll this week.
Notre Dame vs. NC State Better signal caller on the road. Lots of scoring.
Maryland vs. Penn State Maryland starts its downward spiral.
East Carolina vs. USF More athletes for USF
Iowa vs. Minnesota Minny style of play will fit right into Iowa's wheelhouse. 2 TD game.
Auburn vs. Mississippi State SEC is hard to figure out this year.
(25) Oklahoma vs. Texas Too many distractions in UT road game may have helped.
Georgia Tech vs. Pittsburgh Close one.
(6) Houston vs. Navy Folks think this will be close I'm saying 3 TD game.
BYU vs. Michigan State Will the real MSU please stand up.
Virginia Tech vs. (12) North Carolina NC solid not spectacular.
Indiana vs. (3) Ohio State 20 point win. IU covers like they have five straight years against OSU.
Purdue vs. Illinois Purdue is terrible.
(7) Tennessee vs. (8) Texas A&M Toss up for me Myles Garret with a big play late.
Vanderbilt vs. Kentucky Upset kinda.
Colorado vs. USC USC had too many athletes last year.Still the case this year.
(1) Alabama vs. (16) Arkansas. Slugfest. 17-10 Bama.
Texas Tech vs. Kansas State Defensive stand late by KSU.
(21) Florida State vs. (10) Miami. Kinda surprised that FSU is the dog.
Arizona vs. (23) Utah Utah big I think
(24) UCLA vs. Arizona State Rosen with a huge day.
Washington State vs. (14) Stanford WSU few answer for two TE smash mouth football.

Overall: 35-21
Last Week: 0-0

16-9 This week. Had the Ohio St. game almost right on- Next season do not forget Indiana plays OSU tough EVERY year. I don't know what is up with UCLA- and I can't seem to pick PAC12 games.

52-30 Overall. .634 on the year.

52-30 Overall. .634 on the year.
I think its because they are all pretty equal except maybe Washington, so every game is a pick'em

All right. Time for Week 7 picks. Had UL Lafayette not lost to NMSU for two seasons in a row, their game with Appalachian State would have been included. Anyway, here we go.

Duke vs. (7) Louisville
Mississippi State vs. BYU
NC State vs. (2) Clemson
Minnesota vs. Maryland
Iowa vs. Purdue
Kansas State vs. (22) Oklahoma
(15) West Virginia vs. Texas Tech
Western Kentucky vs. Mid Tenn State
(19) Western Michigan vs. Akron
Wake Forest vs. (16) Florida State
(9) Nebraska vs. Indiana
(25) North Carolina vs. (17) Miami
Northwestern vs. Michigan State
(1) Alabama vs. (11) Tennessee
USC vs. Arizona
Missouri vs. (12) Florida
(20) Utah vs. Oregon State
Connecticut vs. USF
(13) Ole Miss vs. (23) Arkansas
Stanford vs. Notre Dame
(3) Ohio State vs. (10) Wisconsin
Arizona State vs. Colorado
UCLA vs. Washington State

Pick Overall Record: 66-57
Pick Overall Last Week: 12-13

Here are my picks.
Duke vs. Louisville (RIP Duke.)
Mississippi State vs. BYU (BYU just dominated Sparty at East Lansing, and MSU is going back to being the cellar-dweller in the SEC West.)
NC State vs. Clemson (Clemson's too good right now for NC State.)
Minnesota vs. Maryland (Minnesota is not very good this year.)
Iowa vs. Purdue (Purdue, although they came off a "big" win against Illinois, will lose this one. Iowa is dreadful as well, but they actually have talent.)
Kansas State vs. Oklahoma (Two times in a row, K-State has won at Norman. No three-peat this time.)
West Virginia vs. Texas Tech (If Tech wasn't such a glass cannon, i'd pick them. Although Dana Holgorsen will probably find a way to get my pick wrong here.)
Western Kentucky vs. Mid Tenn State (Ain't looking like it'll be a good season for WKU.)
Western Michigan vs. Akron (Broncos are good this year. The only real test they have left besides this game is Toledo.)
Wake Forest vs. Florida State (This is my fearless pick of the week. I have a feeling FSU will get caught looking ahead two weeks to the Clemson game, and get shocked by an under-rated Wake Forest team.)
Nebraska vs. Indiana (Is Nebraska back? Either way, Indiana isn't very good.)
North Carolina vs. Miami (Miami rebounds with a mouth-punching of North Carolina.)
Northwestern vs. Michigan State (I have no idea who'll win this one.)
Alabama vs. Tennessee (Sorry, Vols. You ended your streak against Florida this year, but you won't end yours against Alabama this year.)
USC vs. Arizona (It looks like USC's starting to get it together.)
Missouri vs. Florida (Florida will have a good time with Safe Space U.)
Utah vs. Oregon State (Even though Oregon State surprised Cal last week, I think Utah will do better in Corvallis.)
Connecticut vs. USF (USF is pretty good.)
Ole Miss vs. Arkansas (Ole Miss is a very different team from Alabama. I think Arkansas beats them three in a row.)
Stanford vs. Notre Dame (This is another game i don't know who the hell will win.)
Ohio State vs. Wisconsin (I really want to pick Wisconsin, but Ohio State is pretty good this season.)
Arizona State vs. Colorado (True that ASU's defense ain't good, even though UCLA only put up 20 against it, but Colorado failed to impress against USC last week.)
UCLA vs. Washington State (Lose to EWU and BSU, beat Oregon and Stanford...Washington State is weird.)

Duke vs. (7) Louisville. Big.
Mississippi State vs. BYU BYU in a close one.
NC State vs. (2) Clemson. Big
Minnesota vs. Maryland Upset. Minny plays opportunistic style and UM makes mistakes.
Iowa vs. Purdue Purdue can't put together back to back wins.
Kansas State vs. (22) Oklahoma Three big wins now back to back to back.
(15) West Virginia vs. Texas Tech Toss up. Tough loss last week- rebound at home.
Western Kentucky vs. Mid Tenn State. Taking the road dog.
(19) Western Michigan vs. Akron Closer game than folks expect.
Wake Forest vs. (16) Florida State Start rolling again.
(9) Nebraska vs. Indiana Upset. IU is a solid team with improving D.
(25) North Carolina vs. (17) Miami. Another upset.
Northwestern vs. Michigan State Bad year gets better
(1) Alabama vs. (11) Tennessee. UT run through a tough stretch not healthy enough to compete.
USC vs. Arizona Sooner or later these prized recruits come through.
Missouri vs. (12) Florida Sleeper team in the SEC.
(20) Utah vs. Oregon State Utah has not looked good but they are better than OSU.
Connecticut vs. USF home team rolls
(13) Ole Miss vs. (23) Arkansas Toss up. I'd go with Arky but Burt can lose a game like this each year. Remember last year?
Stanford vs. Notre Dame Road dog McCaffery has a big game.
(3) Ohio State vs. (10) Wisconsin Wiscy has a good D but they'll get tested like they did the last time these two teams met.
Arizona State vs. Colorado. ASU covers though.
UCLA vs. Washington State If I keep picking them eventually they will win.

Overall: 58*-37, though this is contested as someone has it at 59-37, so I'll have to do some fact checking.

Temple vs. Memphis. Memphis rebounds at home over a bad Temple team.
(2) Clemson vs. Boston College. Off a short week, on the road, coming off the big win against Louisville they'll start slow, but they'll pick up another win.
Boise State vs. New Mexico. Boise big.
Cincinnati vs. Connecticut. UConn defense will get it done as Sherriffs does just enough.
(20) LSU vs. (17) Florida. LSU has won 5 of the last 6, but Florida ends that streak in the Swamp.
Notre Dame vs. NC State. Even on the road Notre Dame should win.
Maryland vs. Penn State. Penn State needed overtime to beat Minnesota, and Maryland looks decent so far. Fear the Turtle for the upset!
East Carolina vs. USF. ECU officially on my $#!t list for the rest of the season!
Iowa vs. Minnesota. I need to see Iowa put together a couple good games in a row before I start picking them again. With them in conference play for majority of the season, it maybe a long time coming before that happens.
Auburn vs. Mississippi State. Unless you are Alabama, its tough to win on the road in conference play.
(25) Oklahoma vs. Texas. I'll take the over. Neither team could stop a cold.
Georgia Tech vs. Pittsburgh. This is a tough one, but seems like Pittsburgh always finds a way to lose the close ones.
(6) Houston vs. Navy. I figured this was going to be one of Houston's tougher games of the season. By playing the Thursday night game last week it gave Houston an extra day to prepare for the Navy rushing attack, which maybe the difference.
BYU vs. Michigan State. Can we get the real Sparty??
Virginia Tech vs. (12) North Carolina. If this was in Blacksburg I'd take a chance on the Hokies, but in Chapel Hill I think the Heels get it.
Indiana vs. (3) Ohio State. This won't be close.
Purdue vs. Illinois. Guess, but I'll take the home team.
(7) Tennessee vs. (8) Texas A&M. I really shouldn't be picking against Tennessee anymore, but with the 12th man in College Station I think that's too much for a team that comes out slow out of the gates.
Vanderbilt vs. Kentucky. Who knows??
Colorado vs. USC. Really nice story from the Buffs this year, but winning this road game is a little too much to ask for. If they were at home I agree they'd win though.
(1) Alabama vs. (16) Arkansas. Another game, another loss against the Tide for the Hogs.
Texas Tech vs. Kansas State. We know Tech can score, do we know whether they can get a stop?? Tech should be able to outscore K-State though.
(21) Florida State vs. (10) Miami. Can we get Florida State out of the top 25 please?? I've said since week 1 I always thought that was an overrated team.
Arizona vs. (23) Utah. Utah will bounce back at home.
(24) UCLA vs. Arizona State. At least UCLA can play some defense unlike the other team on the other side of the field.
Washington State vs. (14) Stanford. Cardinal bounces back at home.

12-13 ; overall 71-50

Tennessee is an undisciplined team. Don't get me wrong. I like Tennessee, but you don't turn the ball over that many times if you have been taught the fundamentals.

Last week: 12-13
Overall: 71-50

Duke vs. (7) Louisville. Cardinals big
Mississippi State vs. BYU. BYU's had a couple nice road wins, and Miss State coming off a hope beating from Auburn.
NC State vs. (2) Clemson. I remember back when EA Sports still made NCAA football video games they used to have this game as a "rivalry game." I want to say it was like the Textile trophy or something. Not sure if it's a rivalry in real life or not, but whether or not Clemson should win big.
Minnesota vs. Maryland. I'll take Maryland at home.
Iowa vs. Purdue. Purdue coming off a nice win against Illinois while Iowa looks dreadful.
Kansas State vs. (22) Oklahoma. At least I know Oklahoma can score. Whether or not the defense stops them remains to be seen, but regardless the Sooners should be able to outscore them.
(15) West Virginia vs. Texas Tech. Points, points, points.
Western Kentucky vs. Mid Tenn State. I'll take the Raiders at home.
(19) Western Michigan vs. Akron. Western Michigan is a damn good team. This could be a stumbling block though.
Wake Forest vs. (16) Florida State. Can we get the real Florida State??
(9) Nebraska vs. Indiana. Indiana's turning the corner, but not enough to beat Nebraska.
(25) North Carolina vs. (17) Miami. They seem to playing to their opponents level this year. I think they'll steal one in Miami like they stole one in Tallahassee a few weeks ago.
Northwestern vs. Michigan State. If I keep picking them, sooner or later I'll get one right.
(1) Alabama vs. (11) Tennessee. Tennessee should try again in a few years when Saban gets tired of winning and decides to retire for a year or 2 before starting on a new school.
USC vs. Arizona. Neither team is good, but I think USC can win in the desert.
Missouri vs. (12) Florida. Florida big.
(20) Utah vs. Oregon State. Oregon state nice win last weekend, but come crashing back to earth.
Connecticut vs. USF. I'll take the Huskies defense.
(13) Ole Miss vs. (23) Arkansas. Arkansas at home will get the win over an Ole Miss team ranked about 10 spots higher than they should be.
Stanford vs. Notre Dame. Ugh! Who the hell knows?? I didn't think ND was very good while I think Stanford is still pretty good, they just ran into a buzzsaw the last 2 weeks.
(3) Ohio State vs. (10) Wisconsin. Wisconsin should try again in a few years when Meyer gets tired of winning and decides to sit out a year or 2 before coming back and rebuilding a new program.
Arizona State vs. Colorado. Colorado at home over the no defense Sun Devils.
UCLA vs. Washington State. Toss up that I'm all but guaranteed to get wrong.

Louisville beats Duke, and all everyone's talking about is how much the refs sucked during that game.

BYU beats the cowbell school in 2 overtimes.

Anyone else notice that "We set our DVR to record Biggest Loser and it keeps recording Mississippi State games" sign at the end of the game there??
