No reason to take a loss. Just a "no pick" for that game.

So you only picked 23 games this week instead of 24, which is really what happened.

They did..

I've been kind of ambivalent about QB Skyler Howard.. but he had a killer game today. 4 TDs and no picks, not a bad day at the office. Howard has West Virginia undefeated & climbing. He's doing a good job, not sure why I (& college football fans in general) haven't given him more love.

Ohio State was upset by Penn State!

Kentucky beat Mississippi State on a last-second FG. And that means a winning record now (4-3).

I didn't turn in my picks ( luckily) because I would have picked Arkansas over Auburn.

Auburn gave the term " imposed their will on them " a reality.

16-7 for this week (dropped USF [was this close to picking Temple too, grrr!], Texas, UConn, Ohio State, Virginia, Stanford [baseball started pretty early huh?? God bless anyone that sat through that whole game!], and Arizona state with a no contest in BYU/Boise)
105-63 on the year.

Also happy trails to a BCS bowl for Houston! They had a long road to the playoffs anyways with the Navy loss and with Memphis & Louisville still to play in November, but if they won out which included the win against Louisville they at least had a punchers chance of finishing in the top 4 even though they probably wouldn't have even won their division, but definitely would've finished as the highest ranked team of the non qualifiers. However, the BCS bowl was definitely in reach. Even with a loss to Louisville or Memphis they could have held their ground on Boise.....not anymore! Is this the pony express's biggest win in school history?? When Craig James and them were there was before my time so not sure what, if any wins were bigger pre 1985 or so, but almost certainly this is the biggest win they've had since the NCAA dropped the hammer on them. I'm not normally an advocate of rushing the field, but hopefully the students are still on the field celebrating that win.

David, what the HELL happened to the Hogs yesterday? We finally just turned on the Cubs Dodgers game; we couldn't take anymore. Of course that also was a downer for us: we are avid Dodger fans.

I guess I wouldn't have been quite as disappointed if Auburn had won by passing and spectacular receiving.

They just ran the ball at will.
Yes, I am still shocked.
