This entire post made no sense. And LOL @ West Virginia! They folded faster than a lawn chair after labor day, this has been a pathetic performance. I figured OK was going to win, just because they are Oklahoma and West Virginia is West Virginia, but good grief they can at least put forth some effort in the 2nd half??

Western Michigan at #3 ?

There are certain conferences where going undefeated guarantees you a bowl game but NOT a spot in the top 4 !

While I agree that W Michigan in the top4 is laughable, just remember that for a LONG time everyone said the same thing about Boise St., TCU (before they joined the Big12), and Utah (before they joined the PAC12).

Then Boise beat Oklahoma in major bowl games TWICE.
Then Utah beat Alabama in the Sugar.

It is, IMO, one of the main reasons why the playoffs should be 8 teams (and also why the Power 5 conferences will fight against it).

An undefeated team deserves a chance to get beat on the field by a stronger team.

Having more than one undefeated team at season's end is not good for the sport.

All right. Time for Rivalry Week edition picks. This is hate week, y'all. Here are the games.

Central Michigan vs. Eastern Michigan
Akron vs. Ohio
LSU vs. Texas A&M
NC State vs. (19) North Carolina
(13) Houston vs. Memphis
(14) Nebraska vs. Iowa
TCU vs. Texas
(7) Washington vs. (18) Washington State
Boise State vs. Air Force
Toledo vs. (3) Western Michigan
Baylor vs. Texas Tech
Georgia Tech vs. Georgia
Kentucky vs. (15) Louisville
(4) Michigan vs. (2) Ohio State
UCF vs. (23) USF
Syracuse vs. Pittsburgh
Michigan State vs. (12) Penn State
Auburn vs. (1) Alabama
Mississippi State vs. Ole Miss
Minnesota vs. (8) Wisconsin
UCLA vs. Cal
(24) Tennessee vs. Vanderbilt
(25) Utah vs. (9) Colorado
Wyoming vs. New Mexico

Pick Overall Record: 161-102
Pick Overall Last Week: 13-7

Here are my picks.
Central Michigan vs. Eastern Michigan (We begin with a MAC toss-up.)
Akron vs. Ohio (Bobcats at home over a struggling Akron.)
LSU vs. Texas A&M (Gaggies collapsed again.)
NC State vs. North Carolina (NC State is mediocre.)
Houston vs. Memphis (Tom Herman's chances of being hired by another school went up a ton last Thursday night.)
Nebraska vs. Iowa (I think Iowa's win over Michigan will be their only win over a ranked opponent this year. Cornhuskers on the road.)
TCU vs. Texas (Anyone who thinks we're gonna beat TCU...let me direct you over to the Kool-Aid drinkers section.)
Washington vs. Washington State (Tough one to pick, but i'll take Huskies in a close one.)
Boise State vs. Air Force (I think Air Force is gonna surprise Boise State.)
Toledo vs. Western Michigan (Something's telling me an upset's happening here.)
Baylor vs. Texas Tech (I know Baylor's gone to hell, but the fact that Tech gave up 66 points to Iowa State...That doesn't show me that they can beat Baylor.)
Georgia Tech vs. Georgia (Tossup.)
Kentucky vs. Louisville (Cardinals win, but closer than y'all think. most of Lamar's opponents have been gift-wrapping him the Heisman.)
Michigan vs. Ohio State (I can't see Michigan winning in Columbus.)
UCF vs. USF (Easy win for the Bulls.)
Syracuse vs. Pittsburgh (This should be easy for Pitt.)
Michigan State vs. Penn State (Look at Michigan State's last two opponents. Rutgers is advanced levels of bad, and Ohio State's O-line sucks. Penn State will be your B1G East champion.)
Auburn vs. Alabama (Alabama's unbeatable this year.)
Mississippi State vs. Ole Miss (This game is going to have Big 12 scoring on an SEC field.)
Minnesota vs. Wisconsin (Badgers at home. Minnesota is the worst 8-win team in the nation.)
UCLA vs. Cal (Who knows?)
Tennessee vs. Vanderbilt (Surprisingly, i'm going to take the Commodores at home over Tennessee. It looks like they finally figured out that offense does exist, and Tennessee seemed to have little defense against Mizzou.)
Utah vs. Colorado (Sorry, Trojans. Colorado will win your division.)
Wyoming vs. New Mexico (I'll take the Cowboys on the road against an average Lobos team.
