that was it pretty much though: the 4 major bowls with the Rose Bowl always seeming to be the big bowl game and yes, the rivalries. we were lucky enough to see the Army/Navy game twice. Dad was a retired Naval officer.

I was referring to the Stanford part, not the Huskies. They have been in the picture the entire season.

They gave it a good run in the first half anyway with the score at halftime just 14-7. That interception right off the get-go in the third quarter? Oy! Sadly, that's what started it.

Turnovers will kill ya every time.

Watched the 4th quarter of Stanford-SC. Good win for Stanford. Their defense only gave up 3 points to a top 20 SC team (I saw a couple late INTs to help secure Stanford's win). Good day @ the office.

I liked Shaw's brief post-game comments.. don't overlook Stanford's athleticism.

I like when Stanford takes down USC.

David Shaw's a class act.

Just watched Utah-Washington..
Utah's QB (Huntley) looked bad. He had a few yards rushing, but only managed 138 passing yds, no TDs & a pick. And like Griese (calling the game), commented-Huntley was telegraphing passes, leading his receivers in to big hits, etc.
This was my first look @ Huntley (& in his defense, he faced a good defense), but he looked terrible.

It wasn't pretty, but the the Dawgs did what they needed to do tonight, beating Utah. I think this team has the potential to run the table from here on out and still get into the playoff. Jake Browning is a smart, athletic QB who can make a difference in the Husky '18 season. Auburn suffered a close loss today and that doesn't help Washington, but so much of this is out of their control. What is in their control is winning out from this point, something that may be difficult but certainly doable.

Given the injury situation it looks like the offensive line is their current weak point, so they'll go as far as the o-line will take them. The defense will likely keep the Dawgs in every game this season.
