Washington State 4-1
Washington 4-2
Stanford 3-2
Oregon 2-3

Oregon is now, or will be shortly eliminated. Washington State will win the North title if they win out. Stanford will need a lot of help. Washington could still get it if they win out. Drama!

(sidebar: What was with Husky coach Chris Peterson benching Jake Browning tonight? Suspect move and probably cost them the game!)

Yeah, that was weird. They showed video of Browning asking Peterson why. I don't think he got an answer and the replacement QB was obviously not ready. It might have cost them the game, but Browning was not on his game at all.

My impression is that Browning has been off all season. I've wondered if there is a hidden injury to his arm or perhaps a vision problem? If not them maybe it's a psychological issue? He's certainly not dominating games like you'd expect a veteran, record-setting senior QB to do. Instead he seems to get flustered with any significant defensive pressure. It's unfortunate because I've also seen him play terrific in the past. Oh well.

Certainly California had a great game plan against the Huskies. Justin Wilcox is a defensive genius.

As a Husky fan, it pains me to admit it probably will be WSU vs. Utah for the Pac-12 championship. However, as we all know, things can turnaround in a hurry, especially if Washington beats Stanford at home, then anything can happen in the Apple Cup.

As for Arizona, they still to have go to Pullman. Utah has Oregon at home, Cal, then the BYU game. While the north is getting the attention, the south is also very interesting at this point in the season.

Remember, Wazzu did lose to USC way back when, so all U Dub has to do is not trip up again, win in Pullman, and than they are back in the Pac-12 championship.

Yes. I have been on this all along. And, as I posted earlier, WA has only two games left to win. The rest have three.
Seattle sportsradio is counting them out today, but really they still control their own destiny. That said, "let Browning be Browning"!

There was an interesting review on the UW Dawg Pound site that pointed out a big issue has been the chemistry between Browning and the receivers. Not all of this is on Browning. If they can get that sorted out, they may still make it all the way to the Rose Bowl. Both Stanford and WSU have their flaws, and they can be beaten by a rebounding UW team.

Heck of a game down in Tucson right now. Back and forth, who knows who will end up winning. Ah, AZ just scored!

Bold Bowl Season prediction: The Pac-12 will have the best win percentage in the post-season this year. Why? Lots of good teams and talent, but they beat each other up all regular season and rack up a bunch of losses, earning them crape bowls against teams that are not nearly as good.

Arizona Wildcats (5-5) over Colorado (5-4), 42-34. Khalil Tate passes for career high 350 yds & 5 TDs.

Utah @ ASU Sun Devils Saturday (1 pm MST)

You never know about rivalry games, but Washington State is playing great and Washington seems to have lost there way. It will be entertaining anyway. GO DAWGS!
