Sounds mostly right.

Interesting that TAMU is at 4th. Outside the SOS, I'd like to know the criteria for why they're ahead of Washington.

That difference in SOS is HUGE.

I don't know why there needs to be anything else outside of that.

Washington's opponents are a combined 27-38, while A&M's are 30-26 not counting Bama.

Personally I think Washington is pretty solid, and I have them 3rd based on the eye test.

Washington's remaining schedule (teams are 20-13) is tougher than A&M's (teams are 15-16) and should be enough to jump A&M if they do win out.

What a garbage poll, there is nine "2"-loss teams ahead of West Virginia.

Yeah, definitely lower than I have them.

I don't get how Baylor is ahead of them except WVA kinda got blown out and Baylor barely lost, but I still think they should be the highest ranked Big12 team.

Prairie View is 5-3 with 2 of their 3 losses coming to Div 1 schools.

Compared to Portland State (2-6), Prairie View is a juggernaut.

New Mexico State is 2-6 and yes they are bad. However THREE of Washington's wins (not counting Portland St) are @ 2-6 (Rutgers, AZ [who took WAZZOU to OT], & Oregon St.).

Like I said, it is a pretty huge disparity.

Texas A&M is playing 4 road games. Ohio State is playing 5 and Ohio State went on the road for a non-conference road game against a good team in Oklahoma. I am not sold on Texas A&M at all and think Ohio State is a better squad.

Either way there's no way a second SEC team gets in unless the winner of the Pac 12 and Big 12 both have 3 losses.

Washington has absolutely nothing to worry about. As long as they keep winning EVEN IF Texas A&M keeps winning, Washington will jump them at some point, whether it be due to a better remaining SOS, or the conference title that Washington will win that Texas A&M won't, or a combination of the 2.
