Another vote for 2006 Rose Bowl, although I'm admittedly biased since I'm a UT graduate. I miraculously got tickets to the game and watched as 2 of the greatest teams in history slugged it out. Vince Young became a Texas legend that night. I don't think any game had so many future NFLers playing. Four time All-Pro, career yard-per-carry leader and likely future hall of famer Jamall Charles was a backup in that game.

The one where Alvarez came back down to the sidelines, after Bielema left. Wisconsin's grounding and pounding downfield, like old school Barry Alvarez football! I'm sure for the Badgers, it was fun to watch..........until Stanford made adjustments on defense and stopped them at the goal line! I turned to something else, because I know it was over, right there!

Gotta say the Kick Six game.

I don't think there's ever been an instance of a more high-stakes game turning on such an improbable outcome. Cal-Stan? Very cool ending, but both teams were really down that year. Doug Flutie's Hail Mary? Fantastic, but a lot of games have been won on those. The Michigan/Ohio State goal line stand? Again, great ending. Not taking a thing away from Ohio State.

But a walk-off field goal return for a touchdown during a #1 vs. #4 matchup? I think that play has happened maybe four times in the entirety of NCAA history, and none of those came during an epic David-vs-Goliath seesaw struggle with all the marbles on the line.

Kick Six without a doubt.

The U of Miami-FSU game in 1987 at the Orange Bowl in Miami. We didn't get to our seats until mid-second quarter due to traffic/parking and Miami was already down 19-3 I seem to recall. UM scored 23 unanswered points to go ahead 26-19 in the 4th quarter. FSU scored late and rather than go for a tie tried for two points and failed. Final score Miami 26 - FSU 25. According to some sources that game had more future NFL stars playing in a single game than any other in history. As a UM fan it was one of my favorite memories and absolutely electric.

2005 Penn State vs. Ohio State. I was a student at the time and it was just the most incredible experience and game I had ever witnessed.

2005 Texas/USC. What a game. (Or was it technically 2006?)
