I don't see Alabama paying him $5 million a year and paying a $5 million buyout.

Now, if we're talking Saban stays until his contract is up in 2022, which is the same time Dabo's contract is up.. I'd give slightly better odds, but not much.
Yeah that's why I said when Saban retires. And I think he will retire in 2020. Now could and would Alabama pay to get him if it was 2020 ? Oh yeah !

Isn't this sort of like saying: "Do you know who played Tom Brady in every practice last year? It was Ryan Tannehill"

I get the simulations to some extent, but they are pointless to a large degree because there are simply things special players do in games that can't be easily reproduced by lesser players. This is especially true for the QB position where the quality of a player is dictated more by his ability to read coverages and manipulate the pocket than it is his ability to break off 20 yard runs.

Hopefully Clemson wins & I'll be rooting for Clemson, but until Alabama actually loses, pick Alabama. They were clearly the best team by a mile this year.

i found that answer hard to believe as BAMA has lost games that led to them not winning the championship but yep !! they have never lost a NCG ... i was trying to look up how many times BAMA has "LOST" the championship VS how many times Clemson has won one .i remember notre dame and nebraska knocking us out of a few in the old system ...

This will be another year of Bama exploiting Clemson's defense! (despite a great front!). This time, they make adjustments on Watson; put a spy on him, and 'lights out'! Bama 35, Clemson 14!
