Never was really into it, my dad was, but lately my husband and I have been watching. I really like Notre Dame (Brady Quinn's great). I also like going to Westpoint to watch Army play (actually was dragged there by dad, but I'm glad now).

Not a big fan, although I like it better than I use to for two reasons....
1. The NFL is watered down and there is plenty more reasons to disdain pro sports nowadays than even college sports even though big time college athletics certainly has its share of problems. I've always loved college basketball and stopped watching the NBA entirely after the late 90's. I'm not at that point with football and I still love my NFL fantasy football and lazy Sundays when the cold weather hits, but it is reaching an equilibrium.

2. I've learned it really is alot more fun to attend and tailgate. I attended a Univ. Virginia game recently and the atmosphere before, during, and after was spectacular! I attended a Division II school and was aloof to this sort of thing. I also was raised and again live in New England. While I lived in the south as well and still always think some of those folks are too overboard, when you live in the northeast you are molded to supposedly have to live and die by your pro teams. It is sad in this section of the country how badly these people are missing out with the passion and electricity generated by college sports! Almost any where else, and I've learned the general concensus is from people who really understand their sports and the game itself, college sports are far more popular and entertaining.

I hope TCU can produce another great season. I don't think we have a quarterback that can lead right now. Go FROGS!!!

P.S. If we loose to Texas, it'll be ok... BUT... the Longhorns must win the National Championship! If they don't, the Frogs sacrifice would be in vain!

Texas schools will dominate sooner or later.
