So long to TCU and quite possibly the Big 12 in the playoff.

And Penn State with an epic 4th quarter choke job at the Shoe. Up 15 entering the 4th quarter (and once owning a 21-3 lead) they lose 39-38. I thought that defense was actually supposed to be good?? Barrett ended the game completing 16 straight passes!

We may very well see 3 power 5 conference champions shutout of the playoffs. If Notre Dame wins out, they're going to get in. If Georgia and Alabama win out, I am going to assume the committee will put them both in there, regardless of who wins the SEC title.

We could very well have it be Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame and Clemson get in. As we saw last year, winning your conference does not guarantee a spot.

I'm loving this Iowa State run..

Had a friend who was an Iowa native, and he used to talk about how the Cyclones always exist in the shadow of the Hawkeyes. It's cool to see Iowa St earning accolades.

Florida and Jim McElwain have agreed to part ways effective immediately. Not surprising as he was going to get canned after the season ended but surprised it took place in season. Butch Jones somehow outlasts another! What’s next?? Him outlasting Bielema at Arkansas and Orgeron at LSU??

I'm going to throw something out here that is likely going to have people throwing things my direction..

I think Georgia is ranked #1 by the CFP tomorrow.

They're going to look at strength of schedule, which Georgia has all over Alabama.

3 and 4 I don't know.. I'll take a guess here.. But I think they put Georgia as #1.

#1 - Georgia
#2 - Alabama
#3 - Notre Dame
#4 - Wisconsin

And.. Honestly.. #4 I could see Clemson there based on the quality wins they have.. I'm giving it to Wisconsin because they're undefeated. But.. I really want to go back and change it to Clemson.
