I can understand some of the hype over Lamar, but the way ESPN continuously gushes over him is a bit much. I personally felt badly for Deshaun Watson when he did not receive the Heisman instead of Jackson.

That's true, but you have to back it up with a suitable resume as well. USC, OSU, UCF, Wisc, etc


Going to 8 teams is inevitable, it adds one round. While we sit here 4 more week until the "playoff" starts

That was actually my point, in reply to the person who thought expanding the playoff was a good idea based on teams being able to beat other higher ranked teams on "any given day".

All those teams do have a suitable resume. Heck I'd like to see 12-16 teams

I honestly don't think Watson earned it in '16.. A better case could have been made in '15 for him. But, up against Derrick Henry.. Watson's '15 season was far better than his '16, to me at least.

McCaffrey should have won the Heisman in 2015.
