It's great to be a Michigan Wolverine.

Good start to the 2017 season against a shorthanded Florida team today. Offense had some good drives, but also some miscues. The defense looked great, but maybe Florida just has an awful offense. It's too early to say for sure. Kicking game looks the best it's looked in 15 years.

Michigan D looked decent against Cincinnati, but still several issues on O. A few missed blocks by the line. Speight had some over and underthrows. Also a few bobbled handoffs. Several people calling for Speight to be benched. I agree with Harbaugh. I haven't been impressed with O'Korn so far, and Peters is young but I'd like to see him get some snaps. QB play so far seems to be the Achilles Heel of this team. Speight has made some great plays, but he is not consistent.

Thanks for starting this thread. It's surprised me over the years that no such thread existed. Debated starting one myself a few weeks ago (with a similar title too).

It's still early but it appears we're going to watch a good season unfold.

With how bad Ohio State has looked in 2 games, they better beat them this year, especially at home.

Speight (aka the next Brady) is very frustrating to watch at times. He needs to get a serious arm alignment or we aren't going to make the big show..

Harbaugh is a great coach. I predict Michigan will beat Ohio State this year and win the Big 10.
The "catch" is if the key players stay healthy. In an era where CTE has become common knowledge,
I think injuries now go under hyper-scrutiny not done in a previous era (e.g. the 80s).

I got to see Schembechler coach in person while an undergraduate at a well known Catholic college with an overexposed football team. (You'd know the name). It's a tragedy he never won the big one. But Harbaugh is taking the team closer this year.

Alabama is ranked #1 again, but there is always an SEC team that gives them a hard game and a loss.
They are vulnerable to injuries as well. So November should smooth out the uncertainties. But Michigan looks good for starters.

I think we're still a season or two from having a great team. Defense is almost there. I think offense still has a way to go. Once Harbaugh recruits are redshirt sophomores and juniors, I think the team will really hit it's stride. Unless the offense really picks things up, I'm guessing 8-10 wins. Not bad, but not NC material.

Just like he was going to the Rams last year? That was the rumor Colin Cowtard made up last year for a week until someone asked Harbaugh. Now the same moron starts saying Harbaugh to the Colts. I wonder what team he'll say next year.
