I'm trying to get a feel on who the good teams might be next year based on what players are done after this year.

Clemson will be losing some good players on defense such as Dorian O'Daniel and two senior corners, but should still be good next year on defense due to recruiting. On offense, I think most Deon Cain is the main skilled player with the most receiving yards for Clemson this season, but Clemson is stacked at WR and Renfrow has another year. The QB Bryant and all 4 RBs will be back.

Okla will be losing Mayfield and I think Barrett is done at Ohio State. Lamar Jackson is gone and probably NCSU's QB Finley. NCSU will be losing a lot of players.

How could you not mention Saquon Barkley, Sam Darnold and Josh Rosen?

I didn't know. That's why I asked the question.

I believe Darnold may stay another year.

Denzel Ward (CB) will probably declare for OSU 1st rounder. Played better last year than Gareon Conley who went in round 1. San Hubbard (DE) Dre Mont Jones (DT) both likely leave early too - end of first round guys. Tyquan Lewis (DE) SR. probably a 2nd round guy.

Ohio state will be fine on Dline they have in my opinion better players replacing the above mentioned. Secondary will be weak, but there is some hopeful prospects.

Barrett leaving will help. OSU has three other QBs on their roster that could step in and arguably do a better job

Darnold & Rosen should both stay in school.

In Darnold's case he was an interception machine this past year, so he should work next year on limiting those and cutting those down, in Rosen's case because of playing in the Chip Kelly offense.
