Just give me a good football matchup. And, unlike these other fair weather fans posting here, I don't care what teams are in the championship game.

My point is, what College Football fan cares about ratings..? I don't want to see a CFP that includes only those teams that will give the best ratings.. that makes no sense at all. I get that ratings will/might/could be very low.. for Georgia vs Alabama but I don't care.. why should I?
First off, I know what "PBA" stands for, that wasn't why I was asking.

Second, I don't think you get what I'm saying at all. Like that's not even remotely close to my point...

If the ratings are low, that means that the fans/viewers don't care. If the ratings are down, things change. I brought it up because this is what happened the last time there was an all SEC final. People didn't watch because of the thought that this conference and ESPN are in bed together, especially after (once again) an undefeated non-Power 5 school is left out of the "playoffs" entirely. It's not about YOU, specifically, it's about the whole of the tv watching public.

Understand?

Yes, sorta..
Point 1: You think UCF got screwed and should have been in the CFP...
Point 2: 2 SEC teams in the Championship game will cause some fans to tune out..
Point 3: 1 Non Power 5 Conf (undefeated) champ got snubbed so now even more fans will tune out.
Point 4: Ratings will be LOW, things will change.. GREAT!!! Maybe they will expand to an 8 team playoff...

Does that cover everything?

My only point is; you can't please every body! EVERY YEAR one or more fan bases will be upset about the CFP and tune out.. I even tune out some years because I am not interested in the matchup.... ratings be damned! I don't are about ratings.. why should I? When ratings are so low that college football games are no longer televised, then i will care, a little... but until then.. not gonna lose any sleep over it!
