I look for these three games to be close and entertaining. Otherwise I see some lopisided games or just games with teams headed in. Different directions.

TCU v Stanford
Iowa v BC
OSU v USC

Why is Michigan almost a 9 point favorite? Can someone who has watched S Carolina tell me why? AM and Wake could be a good one too

I like the Bowl season, even lots of the meaningless bowls..

Depending on my schedule, I'll try and post unsolicited game recaps of the ones I watch..

Guess I'm rooting for Georgia to win it all.

AND..........(in tradition)

NATIONAL un-Championship
Ex Lax Toilet Bowl (Coliseum, Oakland)
UTEP vs San Jose State
The winner gets an edible chocolate trophy which will help clean them out and erase any memory of the 2017 season.

Uncle Bens RICE BOWL (Rice Stadium, Houston)
RICE vs KANSAS

Donald Trump "YOU'RE FIRED" Bowl (Now held in Washington DC)
TENNESSEE vs NEBRASKA
The caveat here is that both teams have to have had a firing sometime during the season

RC Slocum Memorial Crybaby Bowl (Held in college station TX)
Texas State vs Charlotte

New Bowl The Goodnight's Underwear /DEPENDS Bowl (For teams that aren;t sure if they are big enough to be in this league)
BALL STATE vs GEORGIA SOUTHERN

The K MART BOWL (Played in a dirt field somewhere)

TULSA vs KENT STATE

The FORD LEMON BOWL (Detroit)
OREGON vs BAYLOR

And of course the JAMAICA BOWL, because "It's a nice place to visit but I would not want to live there"

HAWAII vs FLORIDA Two nice places to visit........ I will leave it at that.
ENJOY

Having 40 Bowls is like: Everybody Gets a Participation Trophy.

It's like what some want to turn the National Championship Playoffs into. How about 8 teams? How about 16? 32? Etc...

Seriously? Who cares what you think?

If you are a New Mexico State or a UAB fan, you'll never, ever see the inside of the college football playoff. Heck, UCF had a perfect season and they aren't getting in. They want to play in a postseason game and their fans want to see a postseason game. Plus it gives us something to watch in that bleak period between the Army-Navy game and New Years.

As it is, hey, if I want to tune into a game, I get a game between two teams that, normally, I wouldn't get a chance to see. And some of them are pretty good.

I mean, hell. Why don't we just eliminate every football program that never has a hope of smelling the playoff? Teams like Mississippi State or Arizona or Cal.

for some the entire bowl season is too long and meaningless; to some of us it is one of the fun times of the year along with all the holiday plans. I am about ready to sign off, take all the Christmas presents into the great room, start wrapping them while glued to the TV all afternoon. I even plan our dinner around the games, I keep it simple so I can spend most of the afternoons and evenings watching the tube.

Watched the 4th quarter of the Celebration Bowl (which was the national championship for HBCU schools).
It was a good tight finish.. North Carolina A&T won in the closing minutes, and completed an undefeated season..

Good start to the Bowl viewing season for me..
