Sorry if this has been done before, but I was just curious on what people thought. I figured I'd go through each conference and narrow done what seemed to me to be contenders based on their locales, and how they enfused natural views with their stadiums.

-Lane Stadium, Virginia Tech (Non-Western contenders were limited, but this one could be, if higher up at an October/November game particularly).

-Heinz Field, Pittsburgh (Makes a strong case among leaders in NFL, when at right vantage point).

-Scott Stadium, Virginia (A borderline contender, perhaps not as strong as first two, IMO).

Big 12:

-Mountaineer Field, West Virginia (I don't believe the outside views are that apparent given it's location, but if the Big 12 had a representative, I think this would be it)

Big 10:

-Ryan Field, Northwestern (Penn State would seem to be a more logical choice, but I give NW the edge because while Penn State's stadium is larger, that decreases the ability to see surroundings, which I believe are apparent at Ryan. Neither this or WV will win overall though.)

-Joan C. Edwards Stadium, Marshall (Edges out WVA for stadium views)

-LT Smith Stadium, Western Kentucky (Surprising inclusion)

-Legion Field, UAB (Birmingham in general is quite beautiful)

-Sun Bowl, UTEP (First one on list to have Top 5/Winning Potential)

-Michie Stadium, Army (Almost undisputed leader in clubhouse among non-western stadiums. During peak foliage, possible overall winner)

-LaVell Edwards Stadium, BYU (Best mountain views in CFB)

-Peden Stadium, Ohio (Likely Midwestern Champion)

-Sanford Stadium, Georgia (This one overachieves based on set up)

-Neyland Stadium, Tennessee (No real views inside, but the outside/Vol Navy gets it on the list)

-Razorback Stadium, Arkansas (Possible Champ Among Middle America)

Sun Belt:

-Kidd Brewer Stadium, Appalachian State (Possible challenger to Army)

Pac 12:

-Stanford Stadium, Stanford (Not that amazing by Western standards, still great though)

-Husky Stadium, Washington (Very possibly the winner, though mountain views aren't quite as strong as at some others.)

-Edit (I'll finish Pac 12-Mountain West later, but I am curious on your thoughts! Is BYU or Washington a surefire Number 1? If not, what are challengers? Army, UTEP, UCLA, Washington, and BYU are my top 5, I think).

So, I figured I would make Pac 12 and Mountain West a separate post, since they are essentially a separate tier, and rank them in groups based on how outstanding the views seem to be.

Tier 1: Standouts

UCLA, Washington, Utah, Utah State

Tier 2: Contenders

California, Oregon State, Colorado, Boise State, Air Force, New Mexico, UNLV, Nevada, Hawaii, San Jose State

Tier 3: Nice, but not Elite

Stanford, Washington State, Oregon, USC, Arizona State, Arizona, Wyoming, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State
