Much the same can be said about Notre Dame. They beat Ball State by eight points, Vanderbilt and Pittsburgh by five each and USC by seven. They also have the luxury of not having to play a full conference schedule, and of dodging a conference championship game. That way they can schedule major bowl trips, and not get exposed as a fraud until the bowl game.
