I went to St. Edward’s University (Austin), Southwest Texas State University (Texas State), Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, and the University of Texas (Austin).

As I recall, one of them made an error and actually conferred a BA degree on me.

Yeah, that's why it's called South Carolina.

Muschamp is still there. We seem to have a thing for Florida retreads.

I only mentioned SC because you seemed to say that all of the rest of the schools are redneck, and they aren't. By a long shot.

They're outliers academically, but that does not translate to what you're implying. Georgia's fanbase is the MOST redneck in the SEC.

Thanks for the clarifications, guys.
Then I’d have to say A&M is a cultural fit with Bama, MSU, Ole Miss, LSU, Tenn., Arky, & Ga.

You're off base. Ole Miss is nowhere near "redneck". I don't think much of the LSU or Miss State fanbase qualifies, either.

Well, everyone has an opinion, and we all know what that connotation means.

But A&M was the only real redneck school in the Big 12. No takebacks on that cult.

That's funny. When OU goes to Oklahoma State during the entire game the PA announcer calls OU "the visitors". Will not refer to OU by anything else. Just "the visitors". And it's been going on for 20 years or so.

As for UT-ATM, I miss the game because it was always a Thanksgiving staple. UT has tried playing TCU and Tech and the like on Thanksgiving but it's just not the same.
