NCAA top 5, how do you rank them?
I think USC remains strong at 1. This is the way I see the rest of them! #2 georgia, #3 oklahoma, #4 florida, #5 ohio state.

Agreed. OSU will drop after mighty Ohio U. played them tough. They will really plummet when SC pastes them next week.

man, a home scare against a team that lost to wyoming last week? they should drop, and will be out of the top 10 when USC destroys them. however, I would like to see them win, so florida could give them a 3rd consecutive loss in the NC game!

Yep....definitely unimpressed by OSU yesterday. The improvement between Week 1 and Week 2 should be the biggest of the season. Looks like the Buckeyes are standing still.
And, on another note, I'm not surprised by WVU. They lost a crop of coaches and a slew of good players. Further, they really struggled against Villanova for crying out loud. I don't think ECU is a top 10 or even top 20 team, but they sure exposed WVU for sure.

ECU should make the top 25, probably at #25.

well, I was right. my top five were correct. canes2006, ECU landed at #14! I knew they were going to crack the top 20.

Oh, please do not say those words again: OSU and National Championship Game. I don't want to have to follow through with my threat of going with my girlfriend to the scrap booking store instead of watching another SEC/OSU championship. Wait...come to think of it, I would rather go with her than see OSU stink up the place.

the thing about it is this. perhaps USC was the best team last year, who knows. part of a successful season means navigating through the regular season. it's hard to go undefeated. I have no problem with OSU getting the shot to play for it because they had a good regular season, however, if there is a 1 loss pac-10 or SEC team, they will be chosen over a 1 loss ohio state team.

To me USC is the only clear cut top 5 team. Georgia is shake to me because of all the injuries, Oklahoma maybe, but the verdict is still out, I think Florida is a little overrated, and OSU is extremely overrated. I don't see why people rank OSU so high every year when they clearly never have enough speed for the elite teams in the country. ECU may be better than most teams in the top ten, based on talent and athletic ability.

I think all teams are overrated until the end of the season.
