Some good games today.

I am watching Va Tech vs UNC and I have to say I think Butch Davis has turned a corner with his team. They beat Rutgers in Rutgers and are currently beating Va Tech.

Michigan St. is doing a good job against Notre Dame

Ohio St. wins but I think they should have had a wider margin vs Troy.

ECU lost to NC St, good game and a horrible call by the ref when that was a TD and not an incompletion in the end zone by the NC St WR

We get the Auburn V LSU game today, hopefully its close but I see LSU taking this one.

Just a sidenote Boise State up against #17 Oregan 37-26 with 2.52 togo in the 4th.

Make that 37-32 with 2.07s in the 4th.

Thanks for jinxing my North Carolina Tar Heels!! They did look good regardless of the loss. I hope they can rebound from this and hopefully Yates is okay.

Texas currently leads Rice 7-3 at the end of 1 in Austin. Wake leads over Florida state in Tallahassee 3-0 early in the 1st, and Florida beat Tennessee in gainesville today, dont know the score though.

Also on a side note here, UNC-Charlotte finally got itself a football program slated to kickoff for the 2013 season, wil start out as D-1AA and hopefully move up to D1 by 2016 once an on-campus stadium is built.

Oregon sadly goes down.

I have never seen a team so jinxed by the injury gods. Try to follow this and say it fast:

We go into the game starting our 3rd string QB after our 2nd string QB goes done with an MCL injury last week. This is only after our 1st string goes down two weeks before the season opener. We lose our 3rd string starting QB after a cheap head to head shot tackle in the 1st quarter. O.K., so our 4th string QB was absolutely ineffective due to the fact he has a sore rotator cup and only threw 2-3 passes. Finally, we take off the "redshirt" of our young 5th string freshman hoping he will become the next Dennis Dixon and lead us to the Promised Land. He ends up throwing for 210 yards and 3 tds all in the 4th quarter and nearly leading us back to steal the victory.

Our defense looks terrible again, but we might have found our next Dennis Dixon in Darron Thomas who coincidently looks almost identical to DD...creepy.

Texas had one of the BEST defensive stands I have seen in a while. 1st and ten from about the 2 the hold Rice til 4th down then get a PI call, Rice gets 1st and ten from the 2 a couple of plays and another PI call on Texas. 1st and goal from the 1 and Texas holds stops the and turnover on downs. About 10 plays from inside the 5 Texas shut them down. AWESOME.

Dang, I didn't know UNC lost, still you guys are much improved from where you were

Oregon, had to come from behind last week to beat Purdue and loses this week. Overrated.

Nice, Tulsa looked great! 12 touchdown passes in 2 weeks!! I wish they would have scheduled Texas Tech!! That would have been a real test.

My question is.... What team from Oklahoma is going to lose first? OU, OSU, and TU are sure putting the points on the board... WOW.

The great state of Oklahoma looks very nice so far.

I think LSU has a better win than USC. The big game USC won was vs a way overrated Ohio St team. LSU beat Auburn in Auburn, and Auburn is a better team than Ohio St.
