Nevada Wolfpack:

Grambling State: W 49-13 (Easy win as expected)
*12 Texas Tech L 35-19(Closer game than score, one big play in the 4th opened the game, out gained them on offense, denied a TD to take the lead)
*@#6 Missouri L 69-17: (Great Mizzou offence + rubbish defense = big score)
@UNLV W 49-27 (Great win against a good UNLV team)*(teams ranked at time of game)

*(what rank the team was at the time of game)

Standout performer:
Colin Kaepernick:Pass 61-98 714yards 62.2% 7.29ysd/a 4TD 2INT 132.8RAT and Rush 49 Car 454yards 9.3YPC 66Long TD 7TDs

Games remaining + predicition:

October 4 at Idaho: Win
October 11 New Mexico State Win
October 18 Utah State Win
October 26 at Hawaii Win
November 7 at No. 22 Fresno State Loss
November 15 San Jose State Win
November 22 No. 17 Boise State Win
November 29 at Louisiana Tech Win

Overall: Nobody will stop our offence but our defense is a major concern (cost the Texas Tech game). Overall its been a slow start but after the UNLV game we're starting to hit our strides.

Win vs FAU 52-10
Win vs UTEP 42-13
Win vs Rice 52-10
Win vs Arkansas 52-10

I didnt realize but in 3 of our wins we won 52-10.

Colt McCoy should be in the Heisman running.

It just wouldn't be TCU if we didn't blow the biggest game of the season..... Oh well.

Penn State. 5-0 #6 in the nation. Don't worry, we will blow it against OSU and Michigan...like we always do, and settle for the Outback Bowl.

Arkansas 2-2

Only wins were 4th quarter come from behinds against cupcake teams. However, the offense posted decent numbers against 'Bama which showed me that if the D could get it's act together they might could win a few tough games down the stretch against the lower tier SEC teams. All in all, they aren't a whole lot worse than lots of Hog fans expected this year.

I'm really happy about our start, too, but what happens when we play a real team? Now I must dig up $1000 so I can go to the OU game.

True but I think Colt is going to have a good game vs OU. Who have they played? Washington, come on. It is going to be a couple of interesting weeks coming up, and lets hope we dont over look Colorado like OU did last year.

Don't you mean who has texas played? OU beat a RANKED team that had the best defense in the nation. Bradford still put up career bests. I'll call it 35-17 SOONERS over the shorthorns.

I just hope we fair well against Baylor, the last couple of years we've sucked it up the week before the OU-texas game.

Nebraska 3-1.

Next up Mizzou, as much as I hate to say it, they are probably going to end their 30 year losing streak in Lincoln. I think the only streak we have left is our sellout streak. But, things are looking up and hopefully the program will get back to being a power.

I would be pretty encouraged if we get to 8-4, 7-5 this year.
