Who said UNM were good, I certainly did not. They don't impress me to the point that they are a strong team on the schedule. I'm just saying when you look at Tulsa's schedule:

UAB
North Texas
New Mexico
Central Arkansas
Rice
Southern Methodist
UTEP
UCF

Their strength of schedule is 118th. Not too impressive.

Well, not exactly in the mountains, but head west 8 hours and you'll be in the hills.

Also, around here, it is said that the east peters out in Dallas and the west begins in Ft Worth.

Montain West sucks!!!!! im still bitter they left utep behind, we had good rivalries in football with byu, colorado st, new mexico lobos, in basketball we used to rule the old wac [mountain west] its a good conference, but its alot like the new wac, very top heavy, you got the traditional powerhouses byu, utah, tcu, and then the rest bottom feeders, like wyoming, san diego st, new mexico!

....well yeah, ya gotta admit, when people talk about the MWC in football, usually they're just talking about BYU, Utah, and TCU.......

And I believe that eventually, BYU and Utah will go to the Pac-10, while TCU (rightfully) replaces Baylor in the Big 12.

....Hell, TCU was supposed to be in the Big 12 in the first place.... I don't care what anyone says.

I know..... but still, no real moutains here. When you look at UNLV, Utah, BYU, Colorado St., New Mexico, San Diego St., Air Force, and Wyomming, they all have one thing in common.... mountains in the backgrounds of their stadiums.

What does TCU's Amon G. Carter Stadium have as a back drop? The skyline, off in the distance. It seems out of place.

What I'm really trying to say is...... TCU SHOULD BE IN THE BIG 12!
