They played Texas tough, in the Longhorn's back yard. I wonder if they will drop in the rankings. Thoughts?

you have to drop after a loss, but they won't plummet. if they would have been blown out, they would have dropped to around the 15 spot, but since they played tough, they could be in or right around the top 10. they earned it. they might replace ohio state at the number 9 spot.

My thoughts too jmarquise. Dang, if they could have just pulled out the upset that would have been great.

one problem with the big 12 is that it seems really lopsided right now. all the power resides in the south. mizzou and kansas aren't as good as they were last year. the last real test texas will have will be texas tech. just have to hope for a slip up! if it's texas vs. penn state, I won't watch the NC.

I think they drop into the 12 spot. Florida won and won BIG so I think they take Ohio St spot. I bet the replace LSU

I think florida should jump a lot higher than that. that wasn't a big win. that was total destruction. kentucky had one of the best defenses in college football and they were a 5-2 team. it was a lot more impressive than USC's 17-10 win over a 5-2 team.

I think the polls come out on Sundays nowadays. It'll be interesting to say the least. Ok State certainly can't be ashamed of their performance in Texas though.

Kendall Hunter is a beast. It's phenomenal how OSU always churns out such great running backs (ie, Barry Sanders Thurman Thomas).

Synopsis, as an OU fan, you have to know how hard it was to pull for okie state yesterday. But the way I looked at it was at least one Oklahoma team would have beaten the longhorns. Plus it would have helped OU.

I don't really look forward to playing OSU in their backyard this year.

I know the score looks like we ran the table against KState. But, I was very uncomfortable with that win.
