not even close. the season has several weeks left. all those top 10 teams are about to play one another. at the end of it, the big 12 is going to have a bunch of 2 loss teams. it is impossible to determine who the best conference is until after the season. if the big 12 goes 5-0 in bowls, then they are the best. if they go 0-5, then they were overrated. too early to tell. for all we know, the big 10 could go 5-0 in bowls, and then we will all look foolish! to the OP who said that the division had the best quarterbacks. um, did stafford transfer to baylor or something? everyone predicts him to be the number 1 pick and they all call him the best QB in college football by far.

Looks like they will probably have 3 One loss teams.

Just for laughs, I would love for a Big East homer to try and make a serious argument about why they are the best conferance.

At THIS point in the season, the Big XII is by far the better conference. That is what the question was about, and until the bowl games play out, we won't know the answer as to who is best at the end of the season.

Again, we are talking present tense here. And thus far, the Big XII is by far the better conference.
