hands down the big 12, that texas vs texas tech game, instant classic, they got the 2 top quarterbacks in the nation, every game is a shootout, considering usc, michigan, louisville, ohio st, tennesse, the normal powerhouses are having bad seasons, the big 12 is the best conference in college football this year!

I would say that the big 12 and the southeast conference are the best this year.I can think of 5 big 12 teams that could beat anyone of the others on any given saturday. I was really surpirsed that Texas week after week survived that many hard games with such a young team. Texas Tech is just getting started on the hard games. Its going to be a tough remaining season ahead and the playoff is goign to be a dandy. That si what made the sotuheast conference so good;tough teams to play about every week.

Come on the big 12? It does not matter who's who or what year it is, the SEC as a whole is the toughest to play inside year after year, they always turn out the most talent & if say a particular team or two struggles then another picks up the reigns and goes to #1, besides the SEC had 5 teams in the top 10 not long ago.

I think the SEC is a little overrated this year (yes I know I'm probaly going to get wasted for saying that), I mean Florida demolished LSU and Georgia, they are ment to be big guns in the SEC.

We are talking about this year, I've got no dobut its the toughest to play year after year but so far this year for me the Big 12 is the tougher conference.

Miss. State- garbage
Auburn- garbage
Tennessee- garbage
Arkansas- garbage

Vandy- they lost to Duke, enough said
Kentucky- nope
Ole Miss- yeah right
UGA- blown out badly against the two top teams, OVERRATED

The SEC had teams in the top 10, now they have 2.

Face it, the Big 12 South would take down the SEC this year, except UF, they are pretty good this year.
