After OU beats Tech, Okie light, and then presumably Mizzou is CCG, how does your crystal ball rank Florida ahead of OU? A loss at home to an unranked team I thought would rule them out.

I guess today is the only time in my life that I will be rooting for LSU.

oklahoma probably isn't going to play for their own conference championship, let alone a national one. if you think a fluke loss by 1 point to 5-4 ole miss would rule them out, then I would think that giving up 550 yards and 35 points to kansas state would rule out oklahoma.

Thats all I hear from Florida fans, a fluke loss, avoiding the point that they lost to Ole Miss at home. The point is that you lost to them, doesn't matter if it was a fluke or not.

Anyway I'll go out on a limb now and say I think with Florida's remaining schedule they go to the NC game. I can't see them losing a game, lol what up with scheduling Citdal?

I think stats wouldnt matter over a loss dont you? Don't get me wrong thats alot of yards to put up but its not going to matter vs a loss.

Even after OK runs the stretch, they will still lose their division to TX. TX will not make it to the NC game since they lost relatively late in the season and since Florida is destroying everyone they play and will presumably beat a highly ranked Alabama team for their last game of the year.

That's my reasoning, but who really knows with the BCS.

*I'm not a FL fan

I think Hurricane Fay delayed the Citadel game

Oh thanks, anyway why would a big program like that schedule such a low team like Citdal (no disrespect to them).

my point was that oklahoma stands no chance if they don't win the conference. I don't think that any team should play for a NC if they can't even win their own conference. I don't deny losing to ole miss, but florida wasn't dominated or outplayed. missed XP was the difference, but it's still a tab in the L column. they always seem to schedule a cupcake team before they play florida state. I also am a believer that it's beneficial to lose earlier in the season, and that is what florida did. now they have found their stride on offense, and have one of the best defenses in the nation. they are a totally different team since the loss.
@arkansas 38-7
LSU 51-21
kentucky 63-5
@georgia 49-10

those are decent teams, and arkansas, the worst of them, sure as hell didn't hang 550 yards on the gators. we get ahead of ourselves though. I just want florida to beat vandy tonight. then we can continue the discussion. I just remember how crazy last year was and right now, number 1 and 2 are both playing in tight games.

I could see them playing in Week 1 but it seems a little odd to be playing a I AA school this late in the season.

I think the loss to Ole Miss was the best thing to happen to Florida, I hadn't been particulary impressed with them up until the LSU game.Arkansas has been very dissapointing this season. I'm just saying (the bolded bit) that people arn't going to look at the stats, they'll see a loss in the team coloumn and thats how it should always play out.

Bama and LSU are locked tight now, I think Texas Tech will come out on top. I'd love a playoff system but all this BCS mumble jumble is kind of what makes college football in a little way. All the controversy is kinda good when your team isn't involved
