The WAC and MWC are both stronger than the ACC and Big east. We need a 16 team playoff system now. BCS is trash.

Is there anyone who can still seriously argue that the Mountain West Conference does not deserve an automatic BCS berth, with strong teams like Utah, BYU, TCU, Colorado State, and Air Force in this conference? It is a conference that is stronger than the ACC and Big East and was stronger than the PAC-10 in 2008.

What else does the Mountain West have to do to get an automatic bid? Does the BCS risk total irrelevance by continuing to exclude them?

Watson
It's not like the BCS is just giving out bids for upsets. Doesn't work that way. If it did, the conference could have gotten one when TCU defeated Oklahoma a few years ago. The MWC and every other conference is in the middle of an evaluation process that last four years. This is year two.
