kind of like the way oklahoma beat down LSU the last time a big 12 team played a SEC team in the NC game.

Yeah, it must be nice to have a home game when you play for the NC.

50% of tickets go to oklahoma, 50% go to LSU. how is that a home game? that's like saying that there is a home team when texas plays oklahoma or when florida plays georgia.

We're talking present tense here. ANY Big XII South team that makes it to the title game will put a whoopin' on whomever escapes from the SEC.

Dallas is halfway between Texas and OU

Baton Rouge is 79 miles from the Super Dome, OU is 708 miles from the Super Dome. So I would say it isnt the same as Texas and OU.

It is a sad sad day when a Texas fan is defending Oklahoma

distance really has nothing to do with it. ticket sales do. it's always 50/50. each team spends like a week in new orleans, so you can't blame it on jet lag.

I hope you don't live anywhere near vegas, because that's a deadly gamble!

Yeah, we go at it at times but I think conference ties find us closer than we sometimes think.

When Texas won the NC game against Southern Cal, I was a Longhorn fan all night.

I did live in Reno once, but stayed away from those gambling tables.
