I think most of the nation was a Longhorn as well that night. That was the best NC game I've ever seen.

Agreed. I will still never forget seeing some Aggie fans with shirts supporting Texas

AP had them them 12th in the pre-season poll.

As a funny side note, Wisconsin was 13th Kansas was 14th, Arizona State was 15,Tennessee was 18th lol

Showing how useless the pre season poll really is.

I'm also thinking of the newly crowned #2 team walloping the #9 team from Stillwater. I was actually expecting to see a let down there...

This is a serious question. Could Texas Tech U. beat the Detroit Lions?

I'm not one for saying a college team beats a fully pro team, sure the Lions are playing rubbish but they've all been through college and all of that.

I watched the detroit game yesterday. I will say this about them, they play hard, they just don't have the talent to compete. they came out flying around the football and running all over carolina, but in the end, they had inferior athletes. we are not even sure texas tech can beat oklahoma, so lets not count our chickens before they are hatched!

Yes, obviously the level of talent in the NFL is much higher than in college. But I sometimes wonder if a top-rated team played the worst NFL team, what the score would be. Maybe EA Sports can simulate such a game, just liked they (or maybe another video game company) have simulated Tyson vs. Ali fights (when both were at their peak).
