well I want to know if I have a shot at making the college team I am planning on going to I plan to go to Stephen f. Austin not very good team but I want to have fun. I have played soccer all my life all year around for my high school team the last 2 years and completive for the last 5 I am 6'2 and around 180 and I can punt and average of 40+ yards before hitting the ground my hanging time is around 4 secs but maybe be off a bit I can almost always make it bounce forward about another 10 yards and my long is around the 60 yard mark is there anything you guys would suggest I do to maybe make me better at it like some at home tanning or something?
i'd try to learn to make it bounce backward or to the side. forward bounce doesn't mean much. it's only relevant once in a while. practice punting after catching a snap. practice getting the punt off quickly

hey guys im a punter in year 9 at a highschool in Vancouver I can kick the ball 45-50 yards. Do you think if I keep working at it can I get a college education.
Im sorry man, but you need YEARS of playing football, lifting, training, etc. to play college ball. Just because your tall and 190 Ibs doesnt mean you will make the team. I have never heard of anyone that has walked in on a team for college and actually make it. It would be suprising if you would play at all because you havent worked out with the team at all. I wish you all my luck because your going to need it.
Dude's looking to be a punter, not a middle linebacker.
Sir i am a freshmen studying at a college that competes in the mid american league. I have practically no experience of American football, but i have played soccer for all my life, recently i was introduced to punting by one my friends and i did quite well at it. I regularly punted over 50 yards and my longest punt was about 63 yards and hangtime was about 4.3 seconds. Sir i have no idea how to get to the college team and do you believe that i can make to the team on the basis of the above information.
