Millions of college football fans want a playoff for Div-1A/BCS. If the power conference administrators continue to ignore the majority of the fans because they think revenue could possibly be lost, then should college fans who want a playoff of 8 to 16 teams start to boycott network coverage and game site to get there attention? Does anyone think it will work? Shouldn't the majority rule or does the paying fan who also pays taxes to state funded schools who also receive network cash have no say in this? Even the new President wants a playoff.

I think there should be a playoff

but I will not boycott if there isnt one

Plus four team playoff is enough, no need to overwork them, it is college let them have some free time off to goof around

I want a playoff but I'm too weak to boycott the games. Maybe we'll get a plus-one game someday.

Playoff, BCS, rankings, standings, conference foes, rivalry........ as long as my team wins, I really dont't care how they are sent to the National Championship. Go Gators.

There's going to be something wrong or 'unfair' about whatever system they set up.

I agree that you will never be able to make everyone happy but wouldn't you like to see 8 teams matched up in a cede format? They could still keep the ranking system and use it to get the top 8.

It would have to be a playoff system that would allow teams 1 through 8 all equal opportunity to get to the championship game. And then how are you gonna keep teams #9 and #10 (undoubtably also one loss teams) from crying?

People should just boycott Div I-A altogether and just start following Div I-AA, II, or III. Those levels haven't been ruined by corporate bottom lines.
