No let him stay on...I like to see the Irish fans stew. BTW Willingham just got canned from his latest job so that wasnt a bad firing.

What does being fired in Washington have to do with being fired in Notre Dame? The players HE recruited went 9-2 and played in a BCS game.

Exactly. Between them and Michigan going into the Toilet, this may have been my favorite year of College Football in a long, long time!

How is that possible?

You have great coaches like Pete Carrol, Joe Paterno, Urban Meyer, Bob Stoops.....but you like Weis? Is it because he looks like a cartoon character (Peter Griffin/Charlie Brown)? Its definitely not for his coaching ability.

I absolutely hate notre dame and love it when spit and snot starts freezing to weis' mouth as it hangs agape and he just stands around looking confused

it's a shame that a team like this will get a bowl game

eek out wins against SD St. and Stanford. Couple that with wins over powerhouses Purdue, Washington and Navy.

A legit win against a team having a historically bad season in Michigan (no way to tell they would be this bad when scheduled).

They've lost to any decent team they've played and even a team that is horrible (syracuse)

at least we don't have to worry about them actually winning a bowl game
