Bob Stoops, Mack Brown, Urban Meyer, Nick Saban, Pete Carroll. In no particular order.

I would love to see their combined winning percentage over the last 6-7 years.

Where's your top 5 'nut?

I just realized that I picked the coaches from the top 5 teams in the country, not on purpose but I guess it makes sense. Kind of funny I didn't realize that when I was making my list.

I would agree with yours, I guess it was as tough a question as I thought. Stoops has something like 72 wins at OU, Brown has over 100, Carroll well everyone knows he's great.

Im trying to think of guys on the outside who could be in that discussion. I could say Jim Tressel and Joe Pa in the Big Ten

I would throw butch davis in the mix. won a NC at miami, and has quickly turned UNC around. now there is some talk of him going to tennessee.

How about throwing Tressel and Spurrier in the mix. Mack Brown I'm not so sure, he seems to be an underachiever to me

spurrier hasn't regained the success he had at florida. south carolina regained respectability, but they haven't won the big game yet. I don't think they can compete against the talent rich state of floirda.

Come on I had to step in on this one. Mack brown is 112-26 at Texas and 7-3 in Bowl games.

Yeah Butch Davis would have been my #6. I would think he would go to UT.

More obscure, maybe Houston Nutt, he has done good things this year. He spanked the team that fired him, I never did understand why they got rid of him.

Also Steve Kragthorpe seems to be good, I would expect him to get Louisville back in the top ten.

maybe they got rid of him to get back to the arkansas glory days. the lou holtz days. miami has been in steady decline since davis left, so that just shows that he is an excellent recruiter.

he might go to UT. depends on what he wants. expectations are high at UT, but you can fly under the radar at UNC because of basketball. no one really notices if UNC goes 5-7, but they sure as hell notice it at UT. plus chapel hill is a really nice area.
