No disrespect taken , but did you see how RU finished the season? That team was not the same team that started out the season. RU was not only defeating teams, but killing them, even ranked ones like Pitt (on the road!).

The Scarlet Knights remind me of the NY Giants from last year. The Giants started out that season horribly but ended up as the best team in all of NFL. I'm not saying Rutgers is the best team in college, but they can definitely scare (i.e., defeat) some of the current top 25 teams.

No dobut, so can alot of other teams but when your team is hot it can take alot of stopping.

What did happen to Rutgers at the start of the season anyway, you look at the schedule/results and its like two seasons put into one.

I wish I knew what happened to RU in the first 6 games. We can blame Teel, but it wasn't just his fault. Defense didn't show up either until Teel did. Oh well, all RU can do is go out and kill NC State (sorry, Canes!).

The more things change, the more it stays the same. Disgusting, very.

if not a 15-20 team tournament how about the winners of each bowl play in a tourney

Well done, TCU! They really destroyed BSU. Boise St. is lucky they only lost by 1 point. They were outgained ~2:1 by TCU.

BSU really was dominated in that game; if TCU didn't shoot themselves in the foot so many times then that game would've been very ugly.

I think BSU should finish about 24 and TCU is maybe 15 in the final rankings. This bowl season has not been kind to the mid-majors and will prove that although they're improving, they still have a long way to go before they get the BCS respect.

TCU was ranked #11 before their Bowl game victory. Why would you think they'd drop to #15? They should wind up in the lower part of the top 10. Just imagine if they didn't choke against Utah, they'd be playing in a BCS Bowl game.

Yeah they should go at least near the top ten, don't see them falling.

Why are some of these average games being played after New Years Day? Would it be more interesting to see if an unbeaten Boise play a Texas with a chip on its shoulder?
I agree, it was a joke Ohio State got in. Obviously, the Osu AD has a talented tongue and mouth, if you catch my drift.
