Boise State beat #19 Oregon and went undefeated in the WAC conference.
How can it be unsurprising/depressing that they didn't make to a bowl game?
Coming out undefeated after playing one ranked team entitles you to nothing. Play one top 15 team and one other ranked team and you'll have a viable argument. Until then, its all speculation.

I say TCU beats BSU

Yes, I'm w/ you on that. RU is playing much better than last year and on part to the prior year when they only lost 2 games.

That's true others are also losing seniors and juniors who come out early, but Teel really turned it on lately. After Rice left, it took 6 games for the offense to figure itself out. I hope it doesn't take 6 games next year to do the same.

At least the running game is looking a lot better lately. It literally takes pulling out a man's hair by the dreadlocks to tackle them.

The only weakness I've seen from RU in the past several weeks is their pass defense. But that's still above average. Run defense is excellent and pass offense is even better.

Go RU!

Im pissed about Texas Tech's bowl, they were the second ranked team in the nation and then they get beat by OU and everyone forgets about them.

the BCS sucks, anyways Boise St. does have a tough game with TCU ahead of them, its gonna be close and I dont know who is going to win.

texas tech peaked too early. they had an amazing thing going for them and everyone outside the big 12 was pretty much rooting for them. but they barely beat Baylor! they fell hard...

I agree, the BCS is more like BS. But my point about RU is that truly great teams play good all season.

And I think BSU would kick RU butt!

If Boise State doesn't want to get screwed over, they should leave the WAC.

Get in the MWC, and get a little bit of credibility at least.

No disrespect intended, but Rutgers? You are really serious?

They'll get the crediablity, the WAC had a very down year this year, should be a far stronger conference next season.

And Boise State wants to get taken seriously they should schedule better teams.

Next year they have

Sept 12 @ Toledo
Sept 19 UC Davis
Sept 26 Miami (OH)
Oct 3 @Tulsa

A weak schedule for a team who wants to be BCS bound.

And if there was a BCS playoff would Rugters actually get in it? Because they finished 4th this season and I'm not sure that there could be 4 Big East teams.
