The Pac-10 is doing well in this 08 bowl season

Maybe they are not so weak after all

I used to can USC all the time because they play in the Pac-10

what are your thoughts, are they still a weak conference?

I think they are pretty good.

They are kind of "middle heavy", if that makes sense.

They have one good team, USC, a bunch of teams in the middle (Oregon, Oregan State, Cal, etc) and then and a couple Horrible teams (Washington, WSU).

The teams seem to have a lot of speed, which is the great equalizer.

I agree with the speed part, but Oregon smacked around a Big XII team pretty easily in the second half. I think most people do not think of the Pac 10 as a physical conference, but they are much more physical than people think...just ask Oklahoma State's QB.

The #2 Pac 10 team just beat the #4/#5 team from the Big 12. I guess that is somewhat of a quality win.

Outside of the Rose Bowl, the PAC 10 plays lesser ranked teams from other conf. and mid majors in their bowl games.

I'm not impressed one bit.

Forget the Big XII Ok St is 4-5 in the Big XII South.

On top of the the Pokes didn't have their start WR for the majority of the game. When he was in he had over 100+ yards of receiving.

How are they 4-5 in the Big XII south when they went into the Holiday bowl with a 9-3 record???

It's odd that all the Big XII homers wanted to count OK State as a quality win when their team beat them during the regular season, but not when Oregon does.

I meant to say 4th, and they are. Oklahoma, Texas and Texas Tech are all better teams look at the rankings. Dont have to be a homer to read a poll stating such.

I never said otherwise and I actually have a lot of respect for the Big XII. My only point was that some fans, not all, acted like the college football elite begins and ends with the Big XII south.
