Hey I'm an SC fan, so I'm biased. But you have to love Carrol last night basically saying Oklahoma and Florida can't beat them. Coaches can sometimes sound like politically correct politicians. I love blunt, non-PC honesty. I thought that was great.

Coach Caroll is right. No one could beat USC now. If there was a playoff USC would sweep the table. People have been saying that the Pac 10 is weak, but they are undefeated in bowl games so far.

Why is everyone saying nobody can beat USC?

I bet Florida could give them a run and beat them, and I hate Florida with a huge passion, but you can't deny that they were playing the best football in the country.

I also like USC and yes they are good, but Florida could beat anyone right now in the form that they're in. Its just because they havn't played yet that nobody is mentioning them.

But who knows, can they hold their form, momentum. Its great how all the USC bandwagoners come out now. Where have you been all season!!!

But to get back to the point of the OP, I love how he just comes out and says it too.

Just like every other team USC controlled their destiny, if they did not lose a game they would be playing for #1. Win every game then there will be no discussion.

I think a few SEC teams could beat USC.

A few? Who? I can think of 2 that could MAYBE beat USC. But, it is all conjecture and speculation.

I also think it was great that Pete came out and said that about Florida and OU.
