This is great news for both teams who have come on strong as the season wore on and deserve to be in the National Championship. I will say Florida looks like the favorite here with Percy Harvin returning at running back for the Gators and the great Heisman trophy winner Tim Tebow will lead them to victory. What are your thoughts on this game? Was it a fair selection by the BCS ?

I think this will be a shootout. First team to 48 wins!

I think if Oklahoma shows up, it will be a great game.

If Choklahoma chose up; it will get ugly.

Ruh roh......haven't there been enough squaking about this? Can't we just focus on the match-up this time?

I'm pulling for the Sooners, but not a huge college fan to begin with and have no "team". I just rate the teams each year and go with one I like. NFL is a totally different story for me.

As for the game, I think both teams have what it takes to win. One of them will step up more than the other. My early prediction: Oklahoma 46 Florida 38

Florida, It will be a showdown between 2 great quarterbacks but Tim Tebow is unstoppable.

Looks like Colt is staying for another year, that's 1 guaranteed loss for them Sooners next year.

My biased opinion (Sooner fan) is Oklahoma 44 - Florida 21. It's gonna be a great game!

You don't think the Sooners will make it 6 over 60?

I think the thing that could have a impact on the game is special teams. OU has had it's struggles, look at Shipley having the KO return for a TD. Now Harvin is faster and as he has shown very dangerous returning kicks. I could see this changing the game.

I wouldn't call that a great game, I'd call it a blowout. Well, Ok, you're right, that would be a great game.

OU has had trouble with speedy DE and/or mobile QB. It's all about OUr running game and pass block. If we give Mr. Bradford enough time to pass, we'll be alright. If we can gain 200 yds rushing, we'll be alright.

This will be the toughest defense OUr team has seen all year. I'm glad we were able to cut OUr teeth against TCU, Cinci and the treacherous Big 12 south offenses.

It is early to pick a winner.
OU-49 UF-42
Last one with the ball wins......go!!!

I like Florida playing but Oklahoma shouldn't have made it, it should have been Texas. While Oklahoma has had a good year, Texas still beat them on a neutral field. I figure Florida will win and that works for me since I much prefer the SEC anyway, at least they have a fair playoff system. Hopefully we will see a change in the Big 12 and quit letting the folks back east vote.
