I thought it was a pretty good game for sure. The D for Florida really showed up to play, and made big plays when it counted most.

With the way college sports is changing USC will need to change conferences or get the others to increase their footbal programs within the conference. The realignment of the conferences has made the SEC and Big twelve very strong as far as recruiting goes.USC almost has a lock on the PAC ten year after year for a reason and that is competition level. Florida is the national champion and no one thought USC should have been there really.

I think this game exposed how overrated the Big 12 south was throughout the season. Now, we know better.

Actually i thought that the Sooners did stay with them most of the game, until the 4th quarter. The 4th was when they really fell apart. I wanted the Sooners to win and i lost a couple bucks making a bet with my friend but it was a good game overall. PLus i love watching football games that are close. I hope it'll be like this for the Super Bowl.

I thought it was a good game. Not a fan of either team but I wouldn't call 24-14 a pounding. Definitely wouldn't call big-12 south over-rated.
Big-10 over-rated
USC- sorry guys, over-rated. They should be very thankful for the #3 spot.

Unless Tebow returns next year I bet USC will be #1 in the meaningless preseason polls, then they'll lose to Cal or Stanford early....and we'll have the exact same arguments next year at this time.

No,I think this game shows how tough the SEC is and the quality of football that there is in the State of Florida in which it has to draw.

So the PAC-10 went 5-0 in bowl games , I guess they were the best conference in the country this year.

Actually, Big 12 south member Oklahoma State University - ranked #13 in the polls - lost their bowl game to the Pac-10's Oregon, ranked four spots lower at #17. I mean, if the Big 12 south was a solid football subconference, that's the sort of inter-conference game - against a weaker opponent in a weak conference - that you'd expect them to win...
