I can't believe we actually saw a great NC game. I hope everyone enjoyed it because it seems like we only get one every 3-4 years.
Congrats to FL for winning and for OU making it game

The OU guy who dissed Tebow should be kicked off the team.
I'm happy for UF, esp. former Heisman winner Tebow, for outplaying the current Heisman trophy Bradford. I was expecting a relatively low scoring game, despite the fact that the 2 teams averaged 100 points coming into the game.
Great game. And it proves that a good defense can still beat a good offense.

I am not a USC fan, but I watched all the bowl games (and a lot of the reg season games) very closely and it was obvious to me USC was the better football team. That NC game was a suckfest...both teams looked bad until Tebow turned it on near the end.

Florida deserves the National Championship and would beat USC hands down.
Props to the Gators; they won fair and square!

With all due respect the Utah Utes are the real #1. They finished the season 13-0, destroying Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, by a larger margin that Florida beat them, while Florida lost a game. Great win none the less, but this shows that college football really needs a playoff.

I don't think OU's hurry-up offense did them any good, you gotta give the defense a rest. OU's defense was looking tired toward the end of the game and that's no help when you have to try to bring Tebow to the ground or cover Harvin. The warmer weather climate favors the Gators, they practice all year in much harsher conditions than that Jan. nite and thier athletes are conditioned to it, and they are a 60 min team on both sides of the ball.

As one of the few Alabama Alumni in the Upstate (in a sea of orange and "*****" hats), I tip my (crimson) hat to the Utes. Alabama was unprepared and just played a lousy game.
As for Florida: yes, they are a great team (this year). And, yes, Tim Tebow is an arrogant S B. I really enjoyed his personal foul at the end of the game with Oklahoma - what class. (I'm sorry for my rage against Florida - it goes back to the conceited Steve Spurrier days).
Yes, there should be a playoff system - would like to see Utah/Florida and a deserved #1 team.
