I could not agree more. Look at the past few years, you have teams in the top 10 not finish the season in the top 25. They should wait a few weeks into the season to see how the teams play then release the first poll.

Even USC's Song Girls would lay the wood down on the Irish. Sorry Bro, IMO ND loses at least to MSU, BC, PITT, USC, Stanford.

Hawaii was a bad team...oh, and Syracuse was even worse...

Nevada and Washington State are your only essential sure wins, but you still have a cupcake schedule. You'll probably beat Purdue and probably Stanford. USC will destroy you. MSU will beat you. BC will beat you. Pitt will beat you.

UConn, Navy, Michigan, Washington can all beat you.

If Notre Dame won 6 games, I'd be shocked.
Nevada won't be your only essential wins, don't underestimate them, they bring back one of the best offences in the country, plus they have their key RB back who wasn't even playing last season yet Nevada was top 5 rushing in the country.

Their pass defence was the worst in the country last season, that what seperated them from the WAC title, no dobut they'll test you guys, got a good chance of beating ND.

Yeah, Kaepernick is a great QB, but I still think ND can take them. Dont say your. I'm no ND fan. I hate that school more than pretty much anything.

Notre Dame at winning 8-9 games? Sure they thought the same last year, but even Syracuse managed to shut the door.
