So is with USC going 12-1, and ending up ranked in the top 4 every year is still over rated???? I think you have to reevaluate your definition of the term over rated.

I concur.

If they are ranked in the top 3 preseason every year, then yes, finishing 4th would mean that they were overrated.

Heh, its all relative. In 07 they were preseason #1, went 11-2, ended up #3, they were overrated. Get it, it's all relative.

If OU or texas* loses more than one game this year they will be "overrated".

If uf doesn't go undefeated this year like they are supposed to do, then they are overrated, it's all relative.

Preseason rankings should not exist.

Rankings should start within a couple of weeks of conference play. (I would say around/after the 4th or 5th game of the season)

I could not agree with you more. I mean Michigan was top 25 when they lost to App St. Look at all the teams ranked in the top 10 before they play a game who don't even go to one of the 50 freakin bowl games.

I think TCU is always really good, but the "Non BCS" tag hurts them.

I know who isn't overrated this year. the number 1 gators. the crystal football stays home in gainesville this year. no sense in even playing the games.

With that schedule, it shouldn't be that hard to at least make it to Pasedena.

Maybe it's the homer in me, but I still think that OU is the only top five team from last year that *should* be improved this year, barring injuries to the o-line of course.

Losing Orakpo is huge, Percy Harvin added a dimension to that offense that only he could, and SUC lost their defense. Utah, well, they're Utah.

One question I do have for you is that why do Florida consistantly play weak Div 1A teams and teams like Charleston Southern (Div-1AA)? And always at home as well?

One thing I will say for USC is that they're not affraid to schedule those big teams, even though the PAC-10 varies from year to year and is not as strong as the SEC and maybe a few other conferences.

Especially in recent years, wasn't their team last year suppose to be the next big thing? Well do everyone said.
Florida seems to love hyping their teams.....I agree I was too easy on them. LOL

Florida is also usually over rated but not as much as the other Florida teams are, at least they do their "talking" on the field...unlike Miami....
