as a neutral it was a great game. Georgia played tough and Murray had a great game . Georgia won special teams but Bamas running game was just awesome.
the one disappointment was the cheap shot on Murray after the INT ,totally un neccesary and if the SEC have any guts the offender (forgot his name) will miss the NC.
other than that it had just about everything you could want in a game
A lot is being made of this cheap shot and while I am biased I really think at best it is a no call no foul situation because Murray is now a defensive player and at worst I should be a PF with a 15 yard penalty. But banning a senior from playing in his final game for a NC? ludicrous.

i have nothing against bama and in fact will be rooting for them in the NC. However -even as you say it WAS a cheap shot AND to the head. what if he had knocked Murray out of the game, would it have been 'fair' ?
the precedent , even when no foul called , is after a review a to the head shot is a one game sit out. its been enforced before .
to say a senior shouldnt be banned is ludicrous. so if he was a jr then yes ban him? but because he will miss his last game the punishment should be less??? be consistent and send a message.
