The kid Gerhert from Stanford is an another example of what the Heisman is about, a kid from what was an average team, leading his team all the way up like he has. Amazing numbers, he is more deserving than Tebow.

Why are you disgarding Gerhart?
I honestly don't give a hoot about the heisman, but I like how a kid from Stanford is in contention, nice to see one of the brainy schools being Competitive.

My money is on McCoy or Mackelroy (sp) Tebow is Florida but Florida aint all Tebow as was proved this year. Sneaking suspicion he'll get it just cause he is so gosh darn loved.

are you kidding?

the heisman is nothing, if not flawed. it is about popular players on winning teams, in big media markets.

if it were truly the 'most outstanding player', they'd have a larger variety of positions win it, like linemen and linebackers.

Exactly. I could name a handfull of defensive players that have had as big, if not a bigger impact on their teams season than Tebow.

I was really surprised it wasn't mandated that all Americans lower their flags to half staff for the departure of Tebow.

If it was just about the best player, Darren McFadden would have won it two years ago instead of Jesus H Tebow.

LMAO.

RE Heisman 2009;

Suh is the best player in CFB this year. Linemen don't win it though so the trophy should belong to Toby Gerhart this year.

Another vote for Gerhart here, not one of any logic of course, he is just a great player.

tebow is awesome but not the superman of last year, odds are on McCoy.

(as popeye said) OH MY GOSHK!!!

Bowden is throwing in the towel, wow actually didn't expect it this year. Hell of a run though. It seems like old heads retire and popular coaches move on (get booted out) on a sour note as opposed to on a good one, there are a few exceptions but I can't recall any names. Oh well, get some defense and the Noles will be back.

The FSU situation is no fun for college fans though. They already have their coach. I love a good coaching search.

No joke. I was sure they would have came calling for me, considering I'm an absolute genius when it comes to "armchair coaching" and smack talking on this board. Oh well.

My vote would go to McCoy. If a defensive lineman had a chance in hell, I would vote Suh.
