I wasn't trying to knock NU bro. Just sayin the Big 12 as a whole is very weak this year.
I'm guessing you would be hard pressed to find many people that would agree with your definition of "good". Out of 130 or so division 1 college football teams, I would consider anyone in the top 25 pretty damn good. Big12 has 3 with at least 3 others receiving votes.

Maybe the big12 is down from normal, but it's still a very good conference.

Head to head, Texas does not appear any better than OU or NU either.

fyp. Past results have absolutely no bearing on this game. Texas is by far teh inferior opponent in this matchup. I understand that football is played on grass - not paper, so anything can happen but Texas is not near as good as Alabama.

heh, thats kind of my point. OU and NU shouldn't be allowed to sniff the MNC game this year but UT is going to play in it.

Oh and a big thanks to the BCS for giving us a rematch of last years Pointsettia bowl...ALLSOME!!! TCU vs BSU???? WTF kind of BCS buster is that?? They are trying soooo hard to hide the flaws in this system.

PROTEST THE FIESTA BOWL!!!!

Seriously. I'd love to see TCU and Boise State do this as soon as the coin flips:

- Act as if you're going to kick the ball off.
- Then right before the kicker starts to run, walk off the field..... BOTH schools. Just walk off.
- Then the crowd from both schools come on the field carrying signs (and this is all LIVE on national tv) saying "NO PLAYOFFS, NO PLAY!"
-And both TCU and Boise's head coaches should get into a locker room with both their teams combined and sit in 60's style and not come out until the big heads who run the BCS listen to their demands.

MAKE IT HAPPEN!

I'll watch the bowls just to see football.

This BCS is a joke, TCU and Boise State were robbed indeed. Still should be fun to see them fight each other. Non Automatic Qualifiers' Braggin Rights maybe?

Notre Dame chose not to go to a bowl, right decision. WHY DOES FSU GET TO GO TO A BOWL??!! AT 6-6??!! ON CBS IN THE GATOR BOWL?!?

I thought the Gator Bowl was one of the strongest non BCS bowls, FSU should not be an ANY bowl this year. It's so......bah!

TCU was robbed, They are by far the #2 team in the land, maybe even number one, how the hell does Texas go to Pasadena with a cupcake schedule like theirs and almost losing to A&M and actually losing to Nebraska, but having the game restarted just so you can win.

Okay so Miami was robbed and snubbed we all know that. Gator Bowl officials can you know what and the same goes for Fla.St.

So bring on The Vadgers, they never play anyone any ways and they shouldn't even be ranked. You should have to beat a ranked team first in order to be RANKED.

My prediction Miami will blow out Wisconsin by the 2nd quarter.

TCU plays in a non-BCS conference. No way to tell how good they are. Even worse now that their bowl will be against another non-BCS... no one will EVER know how good (or weak) TCU really was. I would have loved to see them play against Florida, or even Texas had the Horns lost.

TCU should be thrilled with their big BCS bowl payout. They could have been left out completely, it's happened before. Fiesta didn't have to select 2 non-BCS conf team; they probably were urged to do so, much to their disappointment (and that of the fans).

the ******* commentators on ESPN were saying they wished TCU was matched with Georgia Tech so they could prove themselves, why would a undefeated TCU team need to play a 2 loss team to prove themselves, I guess its just the name and the confrence, they should have put TCU against Florida and Cincy against Boise St.

much respect to Alabama coach Nick Saban for having his team being classy and taking a knee during the Florida game, they should have blown them out, Florida does it to the sucky teams. On ESPN tonight he was telling the commentators to stop making TX out to be the lesser of the 2 teams, they always do that, point is, you have 2 of the best teams in the country playing.
