I wonder if Boise St is actually a better team than USC, Oklahoma St or Georgia, and I dont think Washington should be ranked, USC just blew it like they did last year. I dont think that Washington is a better team than most of the others that recieved votes.

I can put a tiny bit of weight in polls now. Still, I don't think they really matter until week 4-5 what with the silly patsies that some teams fight.

Just remember guys, it is always better to lose early than late. Keep that in mind.

Unless your LSU. Anybody remember 2007. They lost there last game before the sec championship to Arkansas. Then beat tennesee and somehow ended up going from ranked number 7 to being ranked 2nd.

This poll makes absolutely no sense. FSU basically makes BYU fetch the stick and then makes the Cougars pull down their pants on their home turf and spanks that azz bloody red and they are rated behind BYU? I'd like to have some of what those coaches are smoking.

Yea, that along with Washington being ranked by sports writers. Hey don't get me wrong I LOVE THEM for what they did, but have them at least beat two more good teams before you rank them.
