That will be a good out of conference test.

Probably at least top 20...I think some of the perennial powers are BACK.

I know he coached there, but try to be a little unbiased.
Lou has done a great coaching job before...you never know...but I think it is highly unlikely and IMHO...Notre Dame needs more experience.

Notre Dame has about as much chance of winning the NC as I have of winning the 2010 Presidential Election. They'll be lucky to win five games this year!

Favorite team: Michigan.

Finish in the top 10? As much as I hate to say this, probably not. There is still a lot of rebuilding to do after last year's debacle. I think 8 wins is very possible, and a top 25 finish is likely. If they can do reasonably well in conference and beat OSU, then a Rose Bowl berth is within the range of possibility.

Well, they just got ranked like 25 or 26 in the preseason polls.

I am not going to sit here and lie to myself saying they will go for the national title (cough Notre Dame cough), but finishing 2nd or 3rd in the Pac 10 and being in the 15-25 range is not out of the question. Depends on how we do in the Civil War.

ND has a pretty easy schedule. Outside of USC every game is winnable. ND isn't going to be any good this season but that doesn't mean that jackoff pollsters wont vote them into a BCS bowl if they win 9 or 10 games. Of course they will get shellacked if they get there.

BTW, my team is Kansas State. I have been a fan since birth and an alum since 2003. No we wont be top 10, or 25. If we can get a winning record I will be real happy.
