Good chance at a top 25 shot....they have had a bit of a slump.

That's for sure...maybe top 5...but after they shellacked Penn State last year(though we had a few injuries); they convinced me that they are contenders.

True, but it helps to reward the athletes and their fans love it. Also, look at Penn State winning the NIT in Basketball....they just missed out on the NCAA tournament and winning the NIT showed they were a good team.

Nebraska Cornhuskers. I am thinking 11-3 this year, and somewhere between #10-15 in the polls.

We will find out a lot about Nebraska when they play at Virginia Tech in their 3rd game of the season.

Their time will come..Look how Utah "laid down the law"...last season and then they got their deserved respect...college football is gaining parody within its' ranks.

I had a few beers last night so I thought I dreamed it when Lou Holtz predicted Florida would play Notre Dame for the national Championship game. Well woke up today to see he did in fact say that. What is this guy smoking? Or is he so old he doesn't know what the hell he is talking about anymore.

I know he coached there, but try to be a little unbiased.

I take it Fayetteville State is in Arkansas?

Iowa Hawkeyes are going to be good. Got most starters back, but they have a couple huge holes to fill. #1 would be Shon Greene. Too bad he didn't stay for the senior year, but who can blame any college player when the money is waved at them. The other is King on the defensive line.

I see they are ranked 21'st in the preseason poll. Sounds about right to me at this stage of the game. I kind of doubt they'll work their way to the top ten.

Fourteen and zero would be unlikely; but quite possible....great team!
